Sarah Palin was quoted as saying that when asked about her husband’s endorsement. I think she was saying just because her husband endorses Newt doesn’t mean she’s in lock-step with him to also provide an endorsement.
I understand that she had said it but I didn’t make any assumptions about what she meant. However I did think it was funny. :-)
