Indeed, but I think Col. West is speaking to the moral scolds on the left and in the media who are trying to overblow this like the did Abu Gharib.
I personally think it was wrong to piss on the dead. It is possible to have honor in war. Urinating on your kill is not a display of that.
But it really doesn't reach the level of scandal. That is how I interpreted what West is saying.
God Bless Col West! I don't think he is grandstanding, as always, his heart is with his Brothers! Good for him!!! We need more brave leaders like him! I'm glad he stepped up to this and reminded the left leaning press what has been done to our Soldiers by the terrorists!

Good for Allen West. This was a non event. Some other poster on another thread got it right when he said that the commanding officer should have told them to cut it out, taken the camera and told them to get back to work. Thats about all this incident merits.

Like I said, sweetheart, we’ve forgotten that war isn’t medals, glory, honor, and all that hollywood bullshit. It is about killing people and breaking things. If you knew the violence things war brings you would puke your guts up and hide under your bed. Instead, you want to make war a hollywood movie set with pretty pictures and glorious medal ceremonies.
