Newt must be DNC Dave's worst nightmare.

He explained the Romney win but no landslide in NH by stating that Romney has a home there, spends time there and ran Mass right next door for several years, they were neighbors.

Many in the media have tried to pyramid their desire to anoint Mitt for us by using Iowa and NH neither of which,IMHO, are anything close to bell weather predictors but just the opposite. Now Fla. that will be another story. That's the state to watch.

Yep, if you watch the video you see some Democrat ‘Progressives’ are well aware of the economic mayhem especially done to small business, although their remedy is more Keynesian, they have the root cause right. And I’d agree with J.C. Watts, who said(paraphrased) ‘small business is all business’, Democrat ‘Progressives’ have a hard time seeing all business is declining under Democrat policies. And the best profit to a small business is a large business.

Bain Capital offers everyone the chance to teach how the economy and businesses actually work,

Unfortunately, that's not how it will be used. Mostly it'll be used as a club to attack opponents, and even if someone(say, Gingrich) tries to use it as an educational tool the media will do their best to prevent it.

And where is Boehner to stop all this spending? He can’t say NO, and mean it?

“‘small business is all business’, “

And that is something the central planners of the Liberal Socialist DNC will never understand.

I know and I’ll do penance for that while I’m doing penance for the Candy Crowley comment. But people do like people or not based on perceptions and sometimes on appearances. It’s not just the look of the sweater, it’s the statement he seems to be trying to make with it. If he were doing something casual, fine - go sweater, but he is running for president. Look professional, wear a suit at least some of the time. Now, I’ll admit that how one already feels about a candidate affects how little things strike one. I like Rick Perry and I’d probably defend him if he wore boots on the campaign trail.

Actually this is an excellent comment,IMHO.

Few realize just how much likability, charisma, looks, things like a radio voice, etc. come in to play in elections. Content is still important but we are lucky if its even 50% of how many voters make up their minds!

Reasons why people vote the way they do can boggle the mind if truth be known. We lose site of that here on FR because we are in a very select set here, few can operate here.

But with all those same advantages, McCain won in NH in 2008 defeating Romney.

Bain Capital - Watching unemployed former employees complain about losing their jobs is like watching a hot potato complain about the guy who dropped it. Nobody ever liquidated a profitable operation or laid off productive workers. Besides, I'd rather talk about hot tomatoes, but this is not that kind of thread.

Marines peeing on dead terrorists - not my style, but they are dead and if they weren't they might be throwing rocks at live women half-buried in the sand. Of course, terrorist life is worth more than victims who aren't Americans, so it's okay for liberals to forget that detail and respect the terrorist multi-culturalism.

As Axelrod goes on the Victory Tour ("Hey, I'm working and so are 91.5% of the people we still count...") it helps avoid talking about Obama's actual performance.

John McCain ought to get in the normal line at passenger airports instead of getting custom VIP screening with all his world travels. Given his track record on what is torture and what is not, American citizens should not be subjected to TSA tactics just because they want to get on an airplane.

“Exactly, water it down as Mitt will and you risk losing.”

I think the establishment GOP is scared of winning quite frankly.

They’d rather grab the Senate and hang onto the house than grab all of it.

And they are mistakenly believing that they can reign in Obama...much like what happened with Clinton in ‘94...and they couldn’t be more wrong.

They are dealing with someone who views the Constitution as a “fundamentally flawed” document...who has already shown that he has no respect for the separation of powers much less adhering to what he’s supposed to do via the powers granted him in the Constitution.

He is enjoying the decline of the U.S. under his watch...he thinks we deserve it.

He sees what happened in 2010 and doubles down on his efforts.

And the GOP...inside of the beltway is terrified of him...despite the fact the majority of America...and some within his party can’t stand him and want him to go.

They’d rather try to control the damage than cut it off at the source.

Denver got thumped, big time. It wasn’t even close. Officially 45-10 but it was really worse than the score indicates. At least it was better than the so-called debate on FNC.

Missed by the majority of the media was Tebow did a Tebow anyway.

There was a depressing segment on Fox News this morning indicating that Obama’s running against a do nothing congress was having some effect.

One conservative congressman (sorry didn’t get name) was saying that he was catching hell when he went home because they didn’t stand fast against budget expansion.

And then Boehner (whom I like less and less) comes on and says well, you have to get along, all families fight, we have 248 people all with a different idea, blah, blah, blah.

I think we need someone stronger than Boehner in there.

I just got a funding request from the RNC! I can't respond because I know what it would do to my blood pressure....

It is amazing however just how different the party can be from county to county. We have a great conservative group down here.

Newt on Face The Nation, Scheiffer asks about the Bain ads and all the criticism Newt is getting from the right. Newt responds no one was complaining when Romney dumped 3 1/2 million dollar negative campaign against him in Iowa. So. like whatever.....

Newt changes the subject and goes on to attack Romney’s record as governor. Scheiffer asks Newt about him calling Romney a liar. Newt responds that he is very direct.

Scheiffer asks Newt if he thinks he’s helping obama. Newt uses a playoff analogy that you want the best teams making it to the Superbowl for the best game possible. This electoral process is about vetting the best candidate to run against obama.

Now on to Santorum. Rick agrees we need a stark contrast to obama and ROmney does not do that. Romneycare WAS the basis for obamacare, whether Romney wants to admit it or not. It is an absolute disaster in MA. Santorum defines himself as the most conservative, especially on the healthcare govt mandate issue, of all the Rep. candidates running.

Establishment Rep.s talking about the inevitability of Romney....we’ve done this before. Time to change. America doesn’t need someone the establishment feels comfortable with that would only make samll cahanges, we need major change to get this country back on track.

asked about Ron Paul....Santorum compliments him on some of his positions but refers to him as the Dennis Kucenich (sp?) of the Republican party. lol....perfect description.

On Gingrich - Santorum says he respects him a lot, but brings up their record when they were in Congress Santorum claims he was the conservative point man in the Senate....Gingrich on the other hand had a conservative coup against him, three years into his speakership.

I have to say Rick Santorum did an excellent job in this interview. Gingrich wasn’t bad, but Rick was concise, clear, and made some great points with few words.

Fish,
This has been an amazing race. I was ripped by the County Chair for my grassroots program and stuck with it. We are seeing actual results and have become a bit of a hero to the campaign. So much he had me speak to the County PCP meeting and have become pretty good friends with Rob.

As you know the grassroots is a threat to the establishment, but they see the value of our help in the campaign. He seems to be closing the 10% gap now.

He is not exactly a Tea Party candidate but is a small businessman who stepped up due to the TP. Like I said, if he was guilty of an $18K error which she is blasting all over the air, she should pay her $750K guilt.

Pray for America
