>>Well, I’m voting for the consistant conservative Rick Santorum SATURDAY...sweater vest and all.<<

Santorum doesn’t have a chance in the general. The current dynamics of this country is not such that a strong conservative like Santorum will draw enough to beat O. O has shocked the country back to the right but not as far right as Santorum is. The move back to the right will need to start with a strong fiscal conservative like Newt who has increasingly move right on social issues as well. It’s time for Newt.

The Democrat Party, at the national level and more, has been taken over by Socialist Marxist Leftists. They are purposefully attempting to bankrupt the United States of America and ruin the private sector free market capitalist economy enriching themselves in the process with wealth and perpetual political power.

The Republican Party is about stopping the Socialist Marxist Leftists from accomplishing their goal and ensuring that the United States of America, individual Freedom and Liberty has a chnce to survive on this earth.

All of mankind’s fate is based on whether we can make this current distinction betwen our two major political parties.

The first thing the “bad guys” will tell you is that both sides are just the same.

Your cynical simplicity in equating the two major political parties of this nation as both only concerned with money and power is very disturbing, defeatist and non-productive.

HUH?

And, judging by the posts on the debate thread on FR last night, there were more than a few "FRools" cheering Newt's performance last night! He CAN take the fight to Obama--better than any other candidate--and we "true" conservatives need to unite behind the one person who has the guts to charge instead of retreat when faced with the kind of "PC slings and arrows" the Left so skillfully launches at us!

The same old, same old people spamming the same old same old comments. That is what you have on every newt worship thread. Same people same comments. Same people same comments. Why not just number them and save space. Just look at the dozen spin post treads started after the debate. Same comments over and over. It is completely removed from reality.

"The NRA is now responsible to call his bluff or to prove it."

Have you called them and suggested this? If you have a great idea, by your own logic, you are responsible to communicate it.

REALTY is that unless someone can defeat Obama's "I care so much about you I'm going to give you everything you want (except a job!)" meme, this country is DOOMED!

We do NOT NEED the perfect candidate--we need the best one of the bunch who will not retreat before the LEFT's PC.

Newt showed he will fight--baggage and all--and we need to drop our "my man's better than your man" mentality and get behind the one who can defeat our REAL enemy!

And--BTW--most of us here on FR do NOT worship Newt or see him as the PERFECT GOP candidate; we worship the only "PERFECT GOD candidate"!

You’re dreaming. The GOP-E has rejected the TEA Party which saved and gave the GOP its historic 2010 win.

Nominate Romney and see what happens to the Grand Old Party.

Karl Rove is actually more dangerous to America than Barack Obama.

A enemy inside the gates can do so much more damage, than an enemy outside.

I saw some audience members stand up and applaud at the end of the segment (Part 4) to which FPC linked. Is that the standing ovation you referred to in the original post? If not, which segment is that in?

The sole purpose of the Republican Party is to serve as an ineffective alternative to the Democrat Party.

The Republican Party is about stopping the Socialist Marxist Leftists

No they aren't. They are about preserving their power. The Republicans simply usher in socialism slower but they ARE socialists.

Agenda - Grinding Down America

This is a film that you need to watch.

This may be my last post on Free Republic so let me say that if the republican party was what you say that it is... and is is not in any way what you say that it is... then boehner and mcconnell would never have lied to us about Cut, Cap and Balance being the only plan and then conspiring with reid, pelosi and obama behind closed doors to create the unconstitutional Super Committee and ensuring that TRILLIONS in spending cap raises would continue through 2012. The House can only vote against any increases as protest votes. boehner signed away the Republican's constitutional requirement to vote spending bills up or down. This attitude that you display is part of he reason that I am leaving Free Republic. It has become a republican party tool and no longer reflects the ideology of Conservatism. It is not Jim's fault... it is the fault of republicans like yourself... that accept the party lies and lie to yourselves in the process.

Well said,Laz and worth repeating.

At least Tokyo Rose in WW2 was honest about who she worked for. She had more integrity than Tokyo Rove.
