In an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Newt Gingrich described Sarah Palin's comments about how she would vote for him if she lived in South Carolina as an "endorsement," and said he'd ask her to join a Gingrich administration:
"Governor Palin is somebody who I think was a very good reform governor. She was extraordinarily effective negotiating with big oil. She did a good job in the state of Alaska. I think shes a very articulate leader of the Tea Party conservative movement. I was honored and delighted last night when she said if she were in South Carolina, shed vote for Newt Gingrich. I hope everybody who likes her decides shes right. And I hope they vote for me.
"Certainly, shes one of the people Id call on for advice. I would ask her to consider taking a major role in the next administration if Im president, but nothing has been discussed of any kind. And it wouldnt be appropriate to discuss it at this time.
"Im just delighted that she and Todd have been both of them so supportive of my candidacy. And they recognize that, you know, Im a Tea Party Reform conservative. Im not part of the Washington establishment. And I think thats the signal that her endorsement last night really sends."

Im listening to Karl Rove on Hannity. Its obvious he HATES Newt with a passion and LOVES Romney!
*************
TS, Establishment quisling Rove doesn’t even begin to comprehend how many people are voting against HIM!
A valid point that must be considered. I sure as heck don’t want Newt to consider her for the VP slot. Allen West, OTOH, would be awesome!
Is she guard dogging Newtie or does Newt think she's helping his middle class image?
I'd vote for Newt if he is the only choice but honestly his wife is not someone I can relate to.
The Flaming PDS’r had to reload his crack pipe and get a hit first.
I'm not so sure about that any more. I believed that she was some kind of hunter too ... until I saw that fiasco of a caribou hunt on her series. She was afraid of the gun kicking and didn't even cycle the bolt by herself. It was embarassing after all of the hype.
It took you a lot longer to show up and insult me for it.
Looks like your little cult can log a FAIL.
“It took you a lot longer to show up and insult me for it.”
You hurl insults all the time but when they come back to you,you wanna cry..bwwwwwaaaaaa.
If you can’t take it don’t dish it.
Oh? I didn’t get the memo. Are we supposed to ignore a vital part of Newt’s history?
Funny guy.
I don’t care how it happens ... you can have the credit...
I think Newt needs to put Mitt away RIGHT NOW ... consolidating the conservative “A” Team would do it... just imagine a full year of double and triple teaming Obama in every news cycle with our plans... Newt knows how to get things done ... he did great in the 90’s ,, we just need the right people around him ..
2012 will be a very bad year for Obama with Europe crashing and him tied to failed policies. I want Obama to be beat up so bad he picks up his old crack pipe and curls up in the residents quarters.
Point out this crying, junior.
Delineating a timeline does not equal crying. Facts are stubborn things.
You are angry at the fact that I don’t fawn over Palin.
Why does that bother you?
Is it the fact that I have an opinion or that I have expressed it which bothers you most?
Okay, NOW we're talking. Gov. Palin has proved herself to be an able public administrator. She WAS an oil& gas regulator. In my opinion, a job as Sec Energy, Sec Def, or Sec Interior would be more relevant to America's problems, and would result in more good done in this country than a million appearances on Fox News.
Whatever Republican is elected POTUS next would be smart to have Palin in their administration.
Oh! to be at the dinner table in the Palin household...
Palin should be planning on a run against Moosecowski.. or even Begich..
“... Im a Tea Party Reform conservative. Im not part of the Washington establishment. ...”
Funny guy.

Calco, if your argument is that Newt was an insider, I agree, he was.. But, not any more. They hate him- that’s one of the reasons I’m for him——
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. -:)
Awhhhh, poor little PDSer can't take his own medicine.
Too bad the truth hurts huh Ace.
Your post is a repeat from a previous thread, it is juvenile and it is not funny.
You should try and think up new material, if you can.
I agree, completely. See post #9. -:)
“Facts are stubborn things.” Yes they are and you don’t like them.
“Is it the fact that I have an opinion or that I have expressed it which bothers you most?”
Opinions are one thing, insults are another.
Your irrationality leaves me to belive that you are intellcutally challenged.
Get another hit off your crack pipe “Junior”
You know, I’ve dealt with a lot of pro-Palin folks over the last few years.
You are by far the weakest and silliest of the lot.
And stupid, too. Did I mention stupid?
Are you still hot for Todd?
I have a great friend who has a wife that NOBODY seems to relate to, except him.
Sometimes you just have realize that floats "my boat" isn't what floats my friend's boat. My new analogy to explain Newt, and WHY I'd vote for him, is as follows:
None of the GOP candidates have ALL the parts and pieces. The one who comes close for me is Gingrich. His dialogue and his attitude remind me of a political version of Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry" character... crude, but a solid advocate for basic justice in an intended Neanderthal way.
Honestly, if anything were to change it would have to be under the circumstances that a "Dirty Harry" just started BLASTING with his 44 magnum. Newt is capable, and something tells me, he's GOOD at it. Newt is "Harry" to me.
