Vice President Joe Biden had his “oops” moment Wednesday speaking in a 49er-crazed San Francisco when he told a crowd at a city political fundraiser that “the Giants are on their way to the Super Bowl.”
Biden spoke at a closed event in the city’s financial District at the Bently Reserve when he made the gaffe, according to a White House pool report released today. The comment by Biden drew immediate “good-natured” boos from the crowd, according to the report by Josh Richman of the Oakland Tribune, who was the only local print reporter allowed to cover the event.
After suggesting that the Giants were heading to the Super Bowl, Biden quickly recognized the gaffe and and explained he was accustomed to thinking in terms of the San Francisco Giants and their baseball wins. His next reference was to the “49ers on their way” to the Big Game.

Amazing how different the media treatment is of Joe Biden's gaffes compared to Dan Quayle's.

Meanwhile,espy reports: EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning started but did not finish practice because of illness.
Apparently he has a bad bug and keeps running to the men’s room, not throwing down the field. Or throwing up the field, for that matter.
What bug can one catch at Giants Stadium? Maybe “Hoffa’s Revenge”.

And the MSM thought Dan Quail was stupid.
He’s a busy man. The concerns that we have are not his, and this is true of all those guys. Baseball and football mean nothing to him. It’s just a flubbed line.
I think Biden has been drinking too much denatured booze, which might explain is brain troubles.
Had Sarah Palin made a similar gaffe, the MSM would be talking about for 3 years.
Oh, wait. They have been.
Meanwhile, Biden gets a “lovable lunk” free pass.
I wonder if Joe even knows what year it is.
