We know Newt cheated on his wife. Got that. Old news. He says he's sought forgiveness for it, and I don't see any reason to doubt it.
What we don't know, however, is that Newt went far beyond "mere" adultery to actually asking his wife if he could make their marriage...more inclusive. That is the accusation, and it's one that his ex-wife hasn't proven.
Again, in America - which is apparently where you don't come from - you actually need evidence before someone is presumed or proven guilty.
Now I am not from America...just like an Obot or a rapid Ron Paul supporter who you have to start with the crap.
Newt Gingrich’s actions speaks volumes...if you choose to focus on the actions he has done that you think you agree with then you are no different than the leftist who support Obama.
You are being played and our country will pay deeply because you fail to actually invest the time to understand who these candidates are.
We either decide to support true conservatives or we don’t. This is the last chance.
Neither Romney nor Gingrich are the answer. Unfortunately we aren’t left with very many choices but Santorum is probably the closest we have to a real conservative running and it is way too early to be compromising on a candidate.
And wasn’t it the GOP that fined Gingrich for ethics violations? Or was that some kind of witch hunt?
Wasn’t it Newt Gingrich who railed Fannie and Freddie on one hand but saw no problem by personally pocketing millions of dollars from them?
Would a principled true conservative be in either situation?
How about supporting the individual mandate for 20 years? It cracks me up how people rail Romney for his commie health care but give Newt a pass?
How about sitting on the couch with Pelosi and support cap & trade?
You can list things ALL day long about Gingrich that absolutely prove he has no principles, no morals and no ethics.
Here is something to think about...guess what our founders were right, character, morals, ethics and principles actually matter...
SO WHY ON GOD’s BEAUTIFUL GREEN EARTH WOULD WE GET ALIGNED BEHIND SOMEONE WHO HAS NONE?
