Libertarians and even some social conservatives may be willing to give Newt a pass on his mistressing, but the general public won’t.

Yeh, they will. It's all ancient history in the eyes of the political public. Furthermore, this libertarian doesn't care what Newt does at home - I care what he can do to fix our broken country.

If Milt Rominy is the pubby nominee, I’m writing Jim Robinson’s name in for president. I can do that here in Tennessee, and I expect in most states other freepers could too.

Proud Mom, you should be proud. Tell your son that you for his service to our country.

We have agreed on many things the past several years. I know you must be as conflicted as I am right now. Feeling a little sad, and left out but know that God holds the future, not any man or women.

So have it your way, let Romney get the nomination. The 0bama and his billion dollars will tear him apart for mormonism, offshore accounts, saying that $374,000 is not very much income, etc., etc. 0bama will win. America will be destroyed beyond the point of no return.

I’ve stated on here many times, I’m sticking with Newt unless he drops out, I’m voting for him in the primary and in the general, ABO.

I will thank him for you. Thanks!

The only thing we know for sure about the future is that it's in God's hands.....and His hands alone.

I am praying deeply for His will to be done in this great nation. I truly believe that He will raise up the right person to lead us in this hour of great need.

I'm just not sure right now, who that one is. (Glad I'm not alone in that!)

Willing to forgive him for sitting on the globull warming couch with Nancy P.

But I better not hear the words "bipartisan", "work across the isle", etc. It still gives the libs an inch, and they always take the mile.

“Yes to Newt, no to Romney, and no to a brokered convention.”

I’m not convinced Newt survives. He will get the Cain treatment - and it’s even more believable with Newt. So the grass roots better start organizing for a brokered convention, or get left with a coronation of Romney.

Hitching the conservative cart to Newt is a big mistake in my opinion. He is demonstrably unprincipled when it comes to conservative causes. How can any conservative ignore this?

Heard a snip of audio with Diane Sawyer talking to the "reporter on the scene" and when he told her that Romney made $374,000 for 8 speaking gigs, she said, "Wow! $374,000! That's a lot of money for speaking!

So.....

I got curious and looked up how much Diane Sawyer gets for "reading" 30 minutes a night for about 40 weeks out of the year.

Yep....

$12-15 MILLION Dollars!

That said, Mitt is a loser and does not get my vote.
