I’m sorry but you don’t get to define my choices.

My choice it to express my honest, conservative and often times critical opinion of Newt. If you want to take that as bashing then that’s your choice. The choice to ban me to not however isn’t yours. This is not your site and you don’t get to decide how Jim views my posts.

Definitely going for Newt! I’m probably more excited about the prospects of beating the RINO establishment than Obama himself.

And you don’t get to arrogantly spew anything your heart desires when the owner clearly and in no uncertain terms told you not to.

I’m done.

From Hotair.com

http://hotair.com/archives/2012/01/20/oh-my-gingrichs-lead-increasing-in-final-hours-before-south-carolina-vote/

Update: The numbers are out. Over the course of three days, his lead averaged out to nine points. But tonight? Double digits:

Gingrich’s lead has actually increased in the wake of his ex-wife’s controversial interview with ABC. Although one night poll results should always be interpreted with caution, he led the final night of the field period by a 40-26 margin. One thing that continues to work to his advantage are the debates. 60% of primary voters report having watched the one last night, and Gingrich has a 46-23 lead with those folks.

The other reason his ex-wife’s interview isn’t causing him much trouble is that there’s a lot of skepticism about it. Only 31% of voters say they think her accusations are true while 35% think they are false and 34% are unsure. 51% of voters say that they have ‘no concerns’ about what came out in the interview.

However:

piece today for Huffington Post about ‘expecting the unexpected’ tomorrow is well worth a read. Gingrich will probably win tomorrow- but there’s a higher than normal chance for a surprise given everything that’s gone down in the last 48 hours.

And to supplement that analogy:

Newt IS a .44Magnum, Obamugabe has a butter-knife.

Why I’m Giving Newt a Pass on the Scarlet-A Factor

http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/01/why_im_giving_newt_a_pass_on_the_scarlet-a_factor.html

Excerpt:

The point is this. Newt Gingrich, like Bill Clinton, is a Boomer in this sexually liberated regard. And right this very minute, there are as many women who identify with Callista Gingrich, the mistress who became a wife, as will identify with the formerly scorned ex. In my own circle of close female friends, two of them were former mistresses.
As Boomers, we would have to do a whole lot of Scarlet-A shunning to keep the marriage vow-breakers out of our midst. Unfortunately, that would mean most of us Boomers would have fewer friends than we could count on one hand. Amongst the younger generations, the only place where one can beam solidly on the side of chastity is at church on Sunday.

At any rate, fair is fair, and since the 2nd Mrs. Gingrich is now nursing her divorce-grudge in public, the public needs to remember just how it was that Marianne came to be the second wife of Newt Gingrich. She had an affair with him while he was still married to wife #1. Exactly so, dear readers. The second wife, now running to the press crying foul over Newt’s adultery, was his mistress (in an adulterous affair) before she became his wife.

“Clinton made me angry. Carter disgusted me. Obama makes me worry.”

My thoughts exactly. He has even worried businesses to the point they refuse to invest anymore. This economy would be doing much, much better if he were not in office.

Coming from someone that claims “Ethics: 75% Conservative, 25% Liberal” you sure pick the wrong fight against Newt.

I’ve done very little other than trash Romney, whom I detest, but I can certainly see where the time is now to rally around the old man.

Ping and double ping.

Just got back from voting. News this morning said a record turnout was expected. My wife and I were 41 and 42, respectively, at our polling place at about 10 AM. Not sure the record turn out will hold up. But the weather is cold, damp, wet and dreary. SC is an open primary state. I’m hoping the weather will discourage demrat or unregistered voter spoilers from tainting the result.

Newt Gingrich is that tiger.

And a tiger is a wild animal -- it will turn on you at some point.

I've become a reluctant Newt supporter in the last few weeks, even donating to his campaign -- the first donation I've made this season. That being said, I've voiced my opinion of Newt in the past -- well before this race ever began. He'd be great -- really great -- in a high-level cabinet position, but not as president.

The man lacks the moral character needed to be president. He has an established history of questionable and immoral actions, and not just in his personal life. Anyone ignoring those does so at his own peril -- you're stepping into a tiger's cage without a chair and whip. That tiger's sharp-as-a-razor bite WILL be used against anyone, including his allies.

I can't stand Mitt Romney, still believe Ron Paul is the mayor of crazy town, and even though I like Rick Santorum I don't believe he can win the nomination or the general. And I'm not stupid enough to give Obama a vote by NOT voting in the general, or by voting for a third party, so that leaves Newt.

I'm on-board with Newt -- heck, for some stupid reason I like the man, even knowing his past -- but mark my words: he WILL betray us, at some point, and it may be such an embarrassing betrayal that the conservative party suffers for a while. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. I guarantee it.

He’s extremely dangerous and has put us in great danger. We could see a nuclear strike in the continental US with this guy. He’s a narcissist and like Hitler, if he’s going down, he’ll take a lot of others with him.

So, you and your lil FR minions have morphed into a this sophomoric mentality of, “tell me what makes me feel good” and cringe at the thought of extending yourself in meaningful discussion.

there's a time for talk and there's a time... for action

:: but mark my words: he WILL betray us, at some point ::

Conservatives will need to “ride him like a rented burro” when it comes time to address Welfare Reform. He may bail out to appease voter demographics.

I too am supporting Newt, but only because I could never support Romney or Paul. My 1st choice was Palin, then Cain.

A bump for your 100% accurate post. Perry and his supporters were savaged by so-called “conservatives” and mods on this board for months with no abatement. Now it’s kissy-face, thanks Perry for your service. Nauseating.

I’m waiting for my wife to get home from Eucharistic Adoration and we will go then.

I think a lot of older democrats will turn out today to vote for Mitt. SC only went 51% for Nikki in 2010 because people here like their candidates conventional.

I don’t think it will be enough to beat Newt however. Going into Florida we’ll have a win each for Newt, Mitt and Santorum. I don’t want Mitt to show up for the next debate. I would like to see Newt vs. Santorum in a debate and Mitt only takes away from that. I think Rick could make a good case for humility and steadiness in a President.

The leftist propaganda organs have been banging the “Onada is unbeatable” drum for months. Even worse the National RINO-led GOP has bought into the koolaid.

The other nonsense bing peddled is that this election is not about the economy and/or the Marxist road to hell we’re on right now. Very convenient to pretend The usurping Marxist Onada’s two weakest areas are not in play.

IMHO, anybody that’s breathing can beat this misersble excuse for a human being. There’s tons of material available. But if a candidate does not have the courage to say “the Emporer has no clothes (because he’s Black)” the result will be another 4 years of Onada.
