You make alinsky smile. Aren’t you proud? Politics of personal destruction, scorched earth, if you don’t have a good retort then sling allegations and insults and name-calling.

I smell a beckybot who is a nit-wit-mit bot.

“I think he will, counting on platitudes and big words and the media relishing him for what a great thinker he is”

They didn’t behave that way when he was speaker.

He expects nothng from the midia except unmitigated continual hostility.

If you do not realize this, you are foolish.

Removing liberal judges...wonderful idea, but completely UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Or doesn’t the Constitution matter unless Obama is in the White House?

It's OK ... I understand your Incredulility ... I was "once" under the same impression ... fostered, of course, by the LIBERAL PROPAGANA MEDIA ...

Newt Gingrich (America's Political Historian) explains that way back in 1802 ... Thomas Jefferseon and James Madison (writers of the Declaration and Constitution) ...

they worked WITH CONGRESS to pass LEGISLATION to ABOLISH 17 out of 35 Federal Judgeships ... Federal Judges who had "wandered off the reservation) ...

If it was PROPER and GOOD ENOUGH for Thomas Jefferson and HJames Madison ...

Then it's COOL with Newt Gingich and me too ...

STARTING with the "entire" Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ...

I keep telling you I am a Christian mom, and I don’t think Newt is playing well with the conservative women voters. He needs to ramp up his message if he hopes to get our votes, and I mean the message that he is not aymore the kink of person that takes advantage or for his own selfish desires hurts those who have chosen him for marriage or office

Did you ever wonder why they weren’t released? Could it be that they would vindicate Gingrich?

Romney is a lying liberal.

We are trying to replace Senor Obama; we are not trying to nominate someone who could be Obamas VP.

If Romney was a dynamic real conservative; people would probably overlook his weird religion.

gingrich

How am I supposed to ignore all that now?

And that just barely scratches the surface. He is statist monster, always has been, always will be. People lap up the BS from his campaign like they never saw a political candidate spout his carefully crafting talking points before. To a certain extent I can understand why: everything that this Country was founded upon and once stood for has been driven hard into a ditch (quite deliberately) over the past 100 years, especially the last ten, and even more so during the last three.

There is another statist monster in the WH placed there to hasten this country's ruin and most of us that know better are in an absolute panic over it. Many of us viewed Palin as our collective last chance to begin the process of stopping our destruction and starting to turn it around. Even Palin, with the tremendous groundswell of support (both $$$ & GoTV) would have faced extremely daunting odds going against that machine (if you are the least bit honest with yourself, you have to admit that there will be widespread fraud, intimidation, & cheating at a scale never seen before in this country's politics). Seriously, do you really think that they are going to “go quietly” at this point?

They made a calculated gamble after the 2008 election to go “all in” (and risk the level of pushback that we have seen grow over the past 3 years) rather than continue the “slow boil” trend of the past several decades. Is it going to work? So far the jury is still out on that but if you look around at the mind-numbed zombies walking around that will be voting in November, what do you think?

So yeah, it is a natural reaction to be in a panic mode at this point, hence the tendency is to grasp onto whichever candidate that remains that we think is going to be our political savior. Most likely this emotional reaction has never been more pronounced by Conservatives that are aware and understand what has been happening over the years to absolutely and purposefully DESTROY our beloved Country. That is why, in my opinion, people that certainly should and do know better, are willing to overlook the absolutely atrocious public record of someone and scramble to his support. It is an emotional reaction to an existential threat. What else should we expect at this point?

It is truly sad and lamentable that it has come to this point, but it has. It isn't like we weren't warned over the decades, but most of those warnings were cast aside as “crazy talk” because the Normalcy Bias is a very powerful force. How many times has each of thought in our minds (or even vocalized the sentiment) “it can't happen here, this is the good old US of A” over the past decades? In some ways our devoted patriotism and love of our Country has served to blind us to the working of the enemies that have been steadily and quietly (until the more recent past) turning up the heat on the pot. So now it has come to this point, a megalomaniacal self-proclaimed globalist and full-bore big government statist is our “Conservative” choice. I remain less than thrilled at that prospect.

Newt has not run for office for years. His baggage will be exposed over and over until the elctroate chokes on it.
The Kimmy Swaggert ‘I have sinned’ rhetoric will not work against Obama. The indignant blame the media tactic he used in the debate will be useless in the general election.

People are sick of all dirty media crap....we just don't care anymore. You see what the reaction was to the ex wife.....boring!

As I said, we've heard it all before and it doesn't have the desired impact the liberals are trying to achieve.

You mean those ethics complaints that were all dismissed?

So that $300,000 sanction -- the first and largest ever assessed against a Speaker of the House -- was just a donation to the dance committee, even though he had to borrow part of it from Bob Dole and pay it in installments. [/s]

So, according to your mores, Reagan should never have been president. Former liberal democrat, he divorced from his first wife, Hell no, Reagan was not qualified.

You are judging Newt as you did Cain-—trial by news allegations.

Obama and the LSM love you.

Where are all Cain’s accusers now?

You do not remember Newt’s masterful tenure as Speaker of the House in the 90’s or you would not be denigrating him here.

Yep, let's just vote for Jimmy Carter, he's a good, moral man, who's been only married once, and has no baggage. /s

“What kind of man sends out his daughters from his first marriage to protect him from allegations (part of which we know is true, ie adultery) from his second wife?”

I doubt he sent them anywhere. I be they are as competent and sometimes ornery as Newt himself is. Good on them.

And good on Newt Gingrich!

Let's take a look at these "wives" for a moment, since there seems to be concern that they may have been "hurt"...

Wife #1 was Newt's high school teacher, who by today's standards would have been a child molester. I doubt there is much sympathy for her "hurt".

Wife #2 broke off an affair with a married father of 3 right before she began her affair with Newt. A serial adulterer herself, I don't see too many Christian women here in SC overly concerned with her "hurt", either.

There are no clean hands in this sordid saga, but sympathy for Newt's ex-wives is a non-starter.

I’ll tell you why Newt is enjoying the level of support he has.

People are damn sick and tired of wimpy, sissy, I can work with democrats tpye republicans.

Whatever Newt’s flaws may be, he’s a scrapper, and I respect that.

I smell a beckybot who is a nit-wit-mit bot.

What is a beckybot? And no, Mitt is at the bottom of my list of preferred. Not that it really matters. When I was critical of Cain, many on here were 'well who are you for then?' At the time, there were 6 in the race. I would tell them -- my state primary isn't until late May. By then it will be over. I will wait to see who is still standing by then. That 6 is down to 3 and, in all probability, one more will drop out before or immediately after SuperTuesday. In 2008 McCain [on my NEVER list] had won the nomination before my state primary.

I would hope for a brokered convention, except the numbnuts would probably nominate Jeb and he is on my NEVER ANOTHER BUSH list.

The options are getting fewer. And it will be the Republican or Obama. No wonder 65% who voted in the IA Primary wanted someone else who wasn't on the ticket.
