Brit Hume stating that Newt Gingrich had the highest unfavorable ratings of all the candidates and his nomination would likely result in a massive GOP defeat in November - including the House and Senate.

I bet they said such things about Reagan as well. By the way, old footage of appearances by CA Governor Ronald Reagan are proof he was not always the benevolent and affable person everyone now recalls. He could get angry, he could be stern; same with Newt.

Oh yeah, Ronald Reagan always started out nice, but he could get mad. I thought that myself when the commentators were saying that.
