OK, you are right. Let me say that there is a long tradition of televised presidential debate with 1964, 68 ad 72 being the exceptions.
We have had televised debates every election since Carter. That is good enough to make my point.
It would make a good SNL skit, if SNL were still a comedy.
We all wanted to coalesce around one conservative nominee. We may have one now.
I agree. The only way to get Obama to set aside 3 hours is to take him to a golf course. Newt might have to agree to allowing him a few Mulligans.
I hope you are right and we all saw what the Tea Party did in 2010. I’m praying there are enough American’s as determined as your neighbors, who are so disgusted by this attempt to hijack the America of our forefathers, by the Alinsky socialist empty suit, that it won’t matter what the media says about Gingrich or Romney.
There’s nothing Obambi can brag, all they have is hate-the rich ad the republicans who want to leave tax breaks in place for the wealthiest Americans, while you and your family are struggling. That’s all they have because he as achieved nothing else. Oh wait, he took credit for the military killing Osama Bin Laden. Sorry Barry, that isn’t going to get you reelected.

Politics is dirty business and Gingrich will get down and dirty.
He has had his own share of storms and more will be coming.

I can’t wait to see him debate Obama. Obama might blow a gasket.

This is very good to know - and to publicize to the world at large.
Newt said earlier today in a youtube link that if Obama would not agree to the debate schedule, he'd simply follow him all campaign season and show in the very same spot 4 hours after Obama and give rebuttal speeches non-stop. (This was Lincoln's strategy against a non-debating Douglas)
Newt should definitely go all Lincoln-Douglas on Zero - the MSM will not be able to ignore it and it gives Newt the last word all the time and effectively shuts 0bama's campaign down (except in totally 0bamabot enclaves) regardless of what 0bama does.
Bob Casey, Jr. basically hid, let his handlers do the campaign for him and rode to an easy victory on his famous father's name.
Rick Santorum mopped the floor with him in the one and only debate. But Casey's handlers made sure it was televised with little advance notice from a cable station which almost nobody had and in a time slot where it had plenty of competition.
Obama will start a war with Iran on the eve of the debates and claim that he has to postpone the debates, then will try to run out the clock, grudgingly agree to a 1-hour debate with a stacked deck, use up most of the debate time because his handpicked moderator will allow him to do so, and barely let Newt get a word in.
The Mod will probably be Keith Olbermann.
