That’s funny because my ancestors on my mother’s side came here with Champlain. He married an Abenaki woman and was living in Canada in the area which is now just south of the northern state line of Vermont. When Vermont’s boundries were drawn, “the border crossed him” and the family became Americans. We got lucky, IMHO.

I think there is a very good chance the current occupant of the oval office is himself an illegal alien, besides being unqualified under the Natural Born Citizen (NBC). The Romney who went to Mexico was Mitt's grandfather. Mitt's father was born in Mexico. If Mitt's father didn't get naturalized before Mitt was born, then Mitt isn't a NBC and isn't any more eligible to be POTUS than Hussein is.

I thought Mitt was born to American Citizen parents who went to Mexico for Religious reasons and Mitt was born there.

If you think that following the laws of the constitution are kooky then you need to be on another site. BTW did you know that Mitt Romney’s dad ran for President of the United States against against Richard Nixon but yet he was born in Mexico? How kooky huh?
Politics aside, other than Mitt being such a smarmy used car salesman who looks down to everyone with his condescending attitude and his fake good ol’ boy laugh, this is one of the main reasons I'm against him.
