Mitt Romney landed here Sunday with a simple message: Newt Gingrich is a failure and a fraud. And a disgrace. And a hapless showman.
Standing under a brilliant orange Florida sunset, Romney delivered his longest sustained critique of the South Carolina primary winner to date – ticking through a list as if he were reading off Gingrich’s Wikipedia page, and undercutting each item as he got to it.
“Speaker Gingrich has also been a leader,” the former Massachusetts governor said. “He was a leader for four years as speaker of the House. And at the end of four years, it was proven that he was a failed leader and he had to resign in disgrace. I don’t know whether you knew that, he actually resigned after four years, in disgrace.

How about this one, I just made it up...” There are 50 Governors who can claim they balanced their budgets but only one Speaker of the House, and he did it for four years in a row!” Feel free to paraphrase and submit it to Newt.

After this tirade, it isn’t like Newt has any reason not to eviscerate Romney in the debates. Santorum too.
The only gentlemen left might be Newt and Ron Paul.
Look at who is losing the facade of coolness.
This kind of personal attack smacks of desperation,
something voters don’t care for in a candidate

I kept warning people. This all ties into the Mormon god-planet perfection thing I’ve seen over and over here in Las Vegas. They are brittle when they figure out their planet might not drop into their laps after being so good. The repressed feelings break into the open. It will get even nastier, downright vindictive.

Santorum is also going after Newt Gingrich. He’s pathetic and has quickly lost all his good will.
So, how is this guy going to unify the GOP if he’s the nominee to go up against Mr. Obama? He seems very desperate, maybe towards being a snob. Personally, I think he’s almost done.

Interesting transposition here on the part of the author,
I’m sure he meant underlining but he used undercutting
which means to cut the base out from under something,
so here’s Mitt undercutting his own argument by how
he’s attacking and it’s apparent to the subconscious
of the author.
