Nice to see the unity on English as nations language in a Florida debate.

I simply refuse to watch it on the tube.
Had a few minutes on a stream feed, but wanted to reach thru the line and strangle that insufferable ass MR.

Williams is just execrable .. short of wearing a Ø tshirt, the miserable cretin couldn't possibly have been more of a tool.
I'm tempted to use the term 'whore' to describe him, but most of them actually have some professionalism (so i've been told ;-).

But now FR's gotten sooooooo slow I'm about to hang it up for the night and let the Republic try to survive the night without my sparkling input.
LOL

Romney protests too much...

From the National Governor’s Association Website: November 2004

Governors Target Nation’s Housing Crunch
New NGA Issue Brief Highlights Governors’ Efforts to Increase Housing Affordability and Availability
November 09, 2004

Governors are increasingly linking innovative housing strategies with broader economic and development policies to make housing more available and affordable for all, according to a new NGA issue brief .

Given that one in every seven Americans today spends at least half of their income on housing, governors are increasingly linking innovative housing strategies with broader economic and development policies to make housing more available and affordable for all, according to a National Governors Association (NGA) Center for Best Practices issue brief released here today at the 2004 Annual Housing Conference.

The brief, which was funded by the Fannie Mae Foundation, will help frame much of the discussion during today’s conference, “States of Change: Innovative Policy and Investments for Stronger Communities,” sponsored jointly by the NGA Center and the Fannie Mae Foundation. Progressive leaders in state housing policy, Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Pennsylvania Gov. Edward Rendell will be featured speakers during the daylong symposium at the National Building Museum.

http://www.nga.org/cms/home/news-room/news-releases/page_2004/col2-content/main-content-list/title_governors-target-nation-s-housing-crunch.html

In his speech at the conference, Mitt Romney said: “By leveraging public and private sector investment, we can increase our housing supply and support economic growth. “–Mitt Romney at 2004 NGA/Fannie Mae Foundation Housing Conference.

Key words: Progressive and leverage.

Is this reporterette a La Raza plant?

Don’t like Newt’s answer on Dream Act. Although tolerable, I don’t feel they deserve to serve in our military. Dont’ want foreign people with questionable loyalties serving in the military, with access to weapons, etc.

Also don’t NEED them flooding the benefits roles, or to have to support their endless dependents until the end of time. This could EASILY bust the military/TRICARE budget to smithereens.

He (Gingrich) did good on the English language, but I think he his going to screw himself on illegal aliens with a round of “compassionate conservatism”. Same with Romney. Romney is very slippery and just talking out of both sides of his mouth. I want to hear the Santorum position on this critical issue.

I hate this liberal lady, whoever she is. Her loaded question on “the threat of an oil spill” was shot down by Santorum.

Santo could have made the point that foreign nations like China is drilling for Cuba not so far from the Florida Keys.

“I wish he would just stick to economic issues and size of fed gov. stuff.”

I don’t - the more people see how dangerous and ignorant he is in this area, the better.

I think it’s funny how Newt gives very concise, well explained answers on his positions. Then Mitt says ‘yeah, what he said’.......

The audience was admonished “NO APPLAUSE, NO REACTIONS” early on. For the most part they have done so, although I bet that during the breaks they are being hammered again.

Attrition and Enforcement does work. NBC will do everything to claim otherwise. Santorum doing a great job talking about the laws broken by illegal aliens.

I think Romney has openly agreed with Newt for the fourth time tonight, by my count.

Should be added to the drinking game.
