Did they instruct the audience to be quiet?

I thought the audience response added a lot to the last debate.

I believe they did. Brian W. afraid of losing control of the audience/situation like King did. Also, takes away standing ovations for Newt .....

The audience was admonished “NO APPLAUSE, NO REACTIONS” early on. For the most part they have done so, although I bet that during the breaks they are being hammered again.

Yeah they did. Bubba Brian at the start told the audience to stay out and be quiet. Makes for a truly boring debate. It also allows the DBM a lot more leverage in picking who won and who didn't!! Guess who won't be seen as a winner,....if you said Newt....

Of course it did - for Newt. And they can’t have that. Mittens is their guy.
