bad move to demand an audience.. he is always bragging on himself as a superior debater.. if he is such a great debater then he should be more than willing to debate anyone anywhere with or without an audience

Normally, I think he would, but this isn't really about whether there is an audience or not. It's about whether there is an audience that will be heard cheering his smackdowns of the media for negativity and protecting Obama, or not.

No he isn't. In the victory speech after the SC win, he pointedly said just the opposite.

The Media is trying to disrupt his momentum.

"bad move... if he is such a great debater then he should be more than willing to debate anyone anywhere with or without an audience."

The perfect move!

Gingrich can handle the other debaters. Clearly, audience response is to defeat the moderators leftwing stunts - as witnessed by NBC's move to silence them coming only after audience response shutdown Juan Williams and John King in the last 2 debates.

Audience response must be allowed as a deterrent to moderators media activism.

Why let the media dictate the conditions? They only stopped the audience input when it became hostile to the media.

You missed Newt’s point...it isn’t about the audiance...’it’s about the medias control’ of what people might otherwise do were it not for them attempting control over them.

Newt knows who the enemy of freedom is and has made it very clear he will call them out when they attempt to control.
