There is a video circulating Youtube recently that describes a DoD presentation in 2005, in which a researcher proposes a vaccination that immunizes against the VMAT-2 gene, a gene associated with a high level of religious experience. The researcher proposes circulating this vaccination with a virus, like the flu.
It is chilling. Please watch it.

Leaving aside the Frankenstein-nature of this discussed proposal, let us remember that evolution expressed this gene, or that God put it there.
There's a reason for it. It could be that the only way an ordered society could work is that people were moral when no one is looking. Morality tends to be very high in those who believe in God. If this gene is destroyed or hampered by science, who knows what sort of world will be created? Amoral creatures, without conscience, all looking out for their selfish interests ONLY, will make for a hell on Earth.
I would predict a total collapse of society and a reversion to a human animal.
These are truly evil people.
I am SO impressed with the brilliance of your concept and execution !
Throw out the chum and then just sit back and watch the God Squad pounce with all their self-righteous pietism.
I’m just Lovin’ It !

“Look, if all you have for me is reasoned discourse and rational explanations backed by hard evidence, I guess our conversation is finished.”
:-) Uh-huh....I thought so.
Epiphany type experiences are used to manipulate the unwary by cults on an assembly line basis and often exhibit the symptoms of schizophrenia. “Enlightenment” can be achieved by the obsessive contemplation of any object or idea from a holy relic to a bag of french fries. Once you are hooked, logic has been subverted and you are a true believer.
I would love to claim such a brilliant move, but the truth is simpler: I'm a gullible a-hole.
I once had an Epiphany; she had God jeans. Her twin sister wouldn’t give me the time of day, tho. Maybe she had the virus...
Say, do you prefer meth or shrooms with your psychobabble?
Just askin’... Like the southern border: no ‘fence.
Me, I can’t make up my mind. Still better off than Pelosi; she can’t make up her face.
If these colors don’t seem right to you, please adjust your set. It sure can’t be us; we’ve got no control whatsoever.
Oh, wait; this isn’t the Undead Thread. My bad. It seems I’ve wandered off the reservation.... I’ll take my marble and go home, now.
Must have more coffee...
Ya gotta stop sniffin’ that Vicks Vaporub, HK! ;}
Vapo-Rub? Nahhhh! I’m old school; Mentholatum does it fer me.
Great humping dog pile, son, you got a set of chops on you. Yes, cults, that’s how they do it, one big happiness sig rune jolt and they own you. Well, not you, obviously, unless thinking out loud is um, you know, hari rama, rama rama, rama krishna, krishna krishna which I only say at the airport or the USB port when I get virtual, I mean virtuous.
