Molinari is Paxon’s wife. She helppec form the Republican Unity Coalition which is basically social liberals who support a big tent (meaning accepting gay marriage) vision for the Republican party. These are the people opposing Newt and throwing a hissy fit over the base’s rejection of their dream candidate, Romney.

The enthusiasm factor is very high for Gingrich.
FWIW, I think he's a shrewd politician, as well as being a generally decent guy. I agree with those who speculate he'll do what the party suggests he do, and if that is to support Romney, he will.
I don't care for his vision of the government role, either; but I don't think much about it, because I think Santorum has run out his ability to influence politics on a national level.

If Santorum helps get the Republican Unity candidate the nomination, he is a fraud. How could he reconcile that with his social positions and moral code. He can’t.
