It's about love, but the object of the love in the lyrics is undefinable "You never have the same face twice/ But I always know it's you/ And you're always looking better than you really do" I think it's about any love, and how we react to it throughout our lives: love between parent and child, love between two people, or perhaps between man and God. On one level you give all, but, at the same time, a part of you demands all: "the heart sulks and remains a child." "Do I wanna to hear you're no good without me/ Am I big enough to hear that you never even think about me. Anyway, I like the song; whatever it's saying it reaches me somehow.
