Santorum is gathering strength slowly and steadily as the campaign rolls on. He has gotten the whine thing well under control, has an excellent grasp on the basis of conservatism and is plenty smart enough. He also has an excellent portfolio on American foreign policy from South America to the Middle East and beyond.

And I truly like, admire and respect the guy.

Turned the TV to “Hippos: The Dark Side”. Somehow, that seems appealing after the debate - can’t stand to see the post-debate pro-Romney analysis.

I don’t think you’ll see Santorum drop out - he’s there to suck votes away from Gingrich - to help Romney, I think. Watch what happens in the election next week.

I wasnt sure if it was Jefferson of Ben Franklin. It was a great interjection of true Conservatiism.

What are Gloria Borger and David Rodham Gergin smoking? Myth had a great night?

-- Romney has been coached very well on what to say to sell himself to conservatives but he still comes off as a phony (but I know his record unlike a lot of voters). --

He's as rich in platitudes as Obama. No way a thinking person buys his lines.

just who is the debate for?

It's for the DNC-loving enemedia to get sound bites to attack Republicans for the next few days and to make ads through the election. Republicans are really stupid to go along with doing them in the first place and attacking each other in the second.

It is very discouraging to have the right principles on our side but to have such loser leadership. They liked it better during the 40 years in the legislative minority when they got invited to all the best DC parties and didn't even have to fight for anything, just go along and give a few milquetoast speeches.

The advisor who said no way on Obamacare was Norm Coleman. Source is Rush Limbaugh.

Nothing about the economy, nothing about class envy, nothing except pandering and division. Guess the economy is pretty good in FL.

PR gets all the Gov goodies without any of the responsibility of statehood.

Why would they ever vote for statehood?

Right. Santorums record is a lot more liberal than Newts. Dick Morris on Fox saying Newt did not hit it out tonight. Romney slammed Newt according to the talking bobble heads
