Newt has been pouring it on in his stump speeches which I do not believe are falling on deaf ears, but catching fire.
I am sure this day of onslaught against him from the entire media, including “conservatives”, and the entire RINO establishment made it a day of Rapid Response, leaving him shredded somewhat for the debate and he was still found standing at the end of it.
Santorum is not our friend. He has held what Newt might have gotten to wipe out Romney in Florida, and I still think Newt’s Floridian audiences see what’s happening.

Yes my wife and I live near the UNF and we went to get tickets only to be told that 3000 seats were there but only 800 tickets were available.
The establishment took those seats and then gave out the 800 hence the crowd
oh and yes we had talked to the GOP lay of Duval county who told is this.
If you want the establishment boy Romney then say so but I can tell you here where the debate is that no one here wants his north east elitist liberal run to the left of Kennedy , say anything , voted for Dems, oh when there was no republican candidate.
I wish we had got some substanstative questions tonite. Like jobs creation, energy policy, etc. But of course that would give the republicans a chance to cast Obama in a bad light. And CNN don;t want that. Lets ask Newt how transparent he thinks Romney is. CNN is a joke.

He answered the question about Reagan as if it were asked in a personal way. What I mean is, many of us Freepers could have answered the question about Reagan the same way. "Well, I was young and not in politics so of course I was not as close to Reagan as much as The Speak" Well, YEAH!

Actually I think Santorum help Newt by brining Romney down on Romney care. It would nice to see the race top two be Santorum and Newt. America would win either way.

I don’t think most people are perceptive enough to see past the strategies Romney employed. If they were, then arguments like Santorum’s would have taken him down for the count in 2008.
You also need to view this debate in the context of all events leading up to the vote. Even if this debate was a tie, which it wasn’t, the media will tailor their coverage to ensuring that Romney comes out on top. Drudge, Beck, Coulter, and the other establishment hacks will be licking Mitty’s wounds tomorrow.

No doubt. If Romney goes up against Obama, his stammering and stuttering around on issues will hurt America. And it’s because he doesn’t believe them.
Thank you for saying this. I agree with everything you have said. I’ve supported FR for a long long time. Despised Romney 4 years ago when a lot of ladies on FR were calling themselves “Mittens.” Now, just because I think Rick would be a better President than Newt, I’m a pariah.
Look, Newt or Rick instead of Romney. Anyone instead of Obama.
