If Santorum drops out, I doubt he will make an endorsement.

I also wouldn’t be all that sure his 12% would go to Newt.

So why press him about dropping out?

Problem we have is that the two frontrunners share some of the same flaws. When they go after each other it only magnifies what those flaws are.

What a mess.

More would go to Newt than would go to Romney, which would be a net gain for Newt.

believe it or not polling data shows an overwhelming majority of his folks would never go Mitt and would opt for Newt

which may explain why Newt has been soft on him

Santorum endorsed Arlen Specter for the party.

I doubt he would show independence of mind to buck that mindset.

he has no money,

he has failed to connect,

his message was simply not communicated,

good or bad it does not matter, he is done.
