Qualifications for the presidency are:
Age 35
Born in the US
Where a candidates parents were born is immaterial.
You deserve a little zot-action, too.
Art 2, Section 1 of our blessed Constitution:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
The two categories are bolded. There are none more of the 2nd category. They are all dead. Hence, Presidents these days must be a natural born citizen. The case law is clear. A person's parents must be citizens at the time of the person's birth to be a natural born citizen.
You lose.
Here is what the Constitution says!
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." I don't see a single word in that about WHERE someone might be born!
Perhaps it is a Penumbra or something!
If your are born of parents (plural) who are themselves citizens you are a Natural born citizen (eligible to hold the office of president) and could have been born on a sailing ship in the middle of the Pacific ocean!
You forgot “Natural Born Citizen”.
