Obama nor his dad lived in Connecticut. There are numerous “Barack Obamas” various spellings, owning properties all over the place. The name seems more popular than Smith. This may be part of the micro loan scam Stanley Anne Dunham and family were apparently involved in. In any case, Barack junior was in Hawaii at the time and Sr. spent very little time in this country and didn't live in Connecticut. Obama names you might find for Connecticut are not for Obama’s dad and are likely fraudulent.

I can't remember the sites where all this was explained, but this is my best recollection.

BOR proclaimed on his TV show that Obama Sr. lived in Connecticut, with no proof.
