Student protesters disrupted a speech Friday by US Senator Marco Rubio, a Cuban-American and rising Republican star, accusing him of "anti-immigrant" positions. Rubio was addressing a Hispanic leadership conference at a golf resort near Miami about the American dream when students in the audience rose up and shouted, "Then why don't you support the immigrants?"
The protesters, including some undocumented immigrants, also brandished signs that said: "Marco Rubio - Latino or Tea Partino?" and "Your party or your people?"

So what? Student protesters are a dime a dozen, or whatever they are being paid these days......
Your Party or Your People?
I keep forgetting-—they’re just “here for a better life” and once they experience democracy they will heartily embrace it....../s
If latinos are here LEGALLY, then Rubio is their “people”.
Now they're "student protesters"!
Tribalism rules. E Pluribus Unum is out of vogue.
This is from the Romney team. Remember, Romney proclaimed last night that he is a Mexican immigrant, or at any rate, the child of one.
His US grandfather fled to Mexico in the 19th century with his wives one jump ahead of the US law so he could practice polygamy, but returned to the US, although to a different state, after George Romney (Mittens’s father) was born because he didn’t want to bring up his child in Mexico and also because the Mexicans weren’t thrilled with the polygamy thing.
In Romney’s deluded world, this means he is a Mexican and the son of a Mexican immigrant. It’s a lying, contemptuous thing to do, and I hope Latino organizations come out and protest this phony hijo de puta.
Playing right into the Marxist policy of Hyphenated Americans. Easier to control groups of hyphenated peoples that solid Americans.
Tribalism is savagery——we thought we left that behind as civilization took hold.
But....it's like so cool and everything on reality TV...
undocumented immigrants
***
No, they are illegal aliens.
They’re ‘natural republicans’ doncha know.
Rubio’s answer “My country first” ....illegal is illegal, they have proven that they have no respect for this nation.
Marco loves his tribalism, him and all the other anti-white crazies tearing this country apart in their own little way.
I notice that NPR is pushing the Mexico Mormons and Romney relatives on an almost daily basis now. I didn't know there was an anti-Mormon market among liberals, but I guess there is. They are so hypocritical about so many other things, they are probably comfortable being anti-Mormon bigots.
And I know your sympathy for latino illegals is pronounced, but calling Romney the Spanish name you did is really over the top. Romney made no claim whatsoever to be a Mexican. He did state the fact that his father, George, was born in Mexico. It is not a lie that Mitt is the son of an immigrant from Mexico.
Well....in that case....he's ineligible to run or serve as President.....LOL
When you say “Mexican immigrant,” what do people think of? A Mexican.
Not an Anglo who, because his family was fleeing the law in the US, happened to have family members born in a cult community in Mexico.
As usual, Romney is misleading and taking on whatever personality he thinks will appeal to a given audience. And I definitely think he deserves that epithet.
Your reasoning and misrepresentation look like desperation to me. Just my opinion, of course.
