Seems there is a Tea Party Express rally today in Jacksonville with J.C. Watts.
More information from Florida:
I am not so sure when English is the written word I fully understand what I am reading.... WHO are these observers? That word 'generally' in the world of politics is some outfit from the UN.
The author seems to have an opinion....
A lot of reporting is being done to suppress turnout for Newt.
Probably -- as Taranto once observed of Katie Couric's ubiquitous "some say" (remember that?) -- it's just an alternative form of the first person singular pronoun! ;-)
Romney does not have an extensive record of political victory to talk about. He lost to Teddy Kennedy in 1996. He won once in 2003 in his gubernatorial race. With a 30% favorability rating in Massachusetts, he was poised to lose against Deval Patrick in a gubernatorial reelection race so he opted to run for president instead of Governor. He lost that primary race against John McCain. Despite his record of losing and unpopularity, we’re supposed to all believe that he is going to beat Barack Obama? I don’t see it happening frankly. Romney is anything but low risk. The only good news is that once he loses a Presidential race, we will hopefully have seen the last of this bad penny.
Well you are being 'generous' in calling it reporting. Half a truth to lie is a lie anyway. These high minded elites are not going to out lie Obama and WIN... They do not have enough money to out buy his media war chest. And they will be going into battle him naked and begging for bread and water. Thankfully they won't have the power of the draft to force us to clean up after this mess they have created.
And who else should they support?
The big government “conservative” Santorum?
Romney, the guy who gave us ObamaCare?
Ron Paul, ol’ Captain Earmark himself?
I can honestly say this, I would not want to be attending any Tea Party event if it was into supporting Romney, I hate to say this but I also believe anyone supporting Romney should not be at any Tea Party event as well, sorry to rub some peoples nose the wrong way.
Just cannot be a divided Tea Party, has to be behind Newt.
“some tea party leaders”
Who elected or appointed these leaders? The pundits and the casual observers still don’t get it. The Tea Party is a grassroots movement, not a monolithic “organization.”
Darn, I liked it better with the visual of a contingent of blue helmeted UN observers, instead of a single pair of eyes. The 'observing' at least sounds warranted.
TPX Rally today in Jacksonville with J.C. Watts.
GO NEWT!!!!
That is the most hated concept the left has that they wish to prop up a leader for the Tea Party, they keep pointing fingers and assume this person here, that person there, any person they feel is connected with some form of an elevated status and involvement of the Tea Party they immediately advertise that person or group as leaders.
But there isn’t any leaders and thats terribly frustrating for them, it leaves them impotent and without a target.
.. it leaves them impotent and without a target
I am not happy with our choices.
NOOT with all his baggage is now my choice.
Romney? A phony. Something about him makes my skin crawl.
Santorum? Nice guy has two chances. Very Slim & None.
Ron Paul? The joke. The nut case. No Way I threw my tin foil hat away years ago, when I was with the VRW. (Vast Right Wing)
the old guard GOP is just as much the enemy as bambi......never forget the government was taken over in 1963 by guns in Dallas, and are under real threat now, hence the illusion of Romney as an alternative to bambi......they are both on the same side....you see the government has been on it’s own side for a LONG time, and they see the Tea party and Sarah and now Newt and all of us “uppity people” as the enemy
That may well be the stupidest thing I read today. Does the idiot wait and endorse whoever is leading the week before the election? With that thinking he might have to endorse Obama to stay on a winning team. A real genius this one.

In retrospect all those forum starters and posters that over and over kept up a dialogue of absolute conservative requirements in the past I view in hindsight as them possibly creating an impossible qualified person, there just cannot be a perfect person, mankind is inherently flawed, and then we see a candidate being hyped up constantly, over and over just like a creative movie teaser that suggests a high quality movie but turns out to be an absolute dog at the box office.
Romney comes off as a movie that we have not seen yet and has a budget to create a nonstop teaser trailer show that is actually exceeding what was committed to the actual show.
How many people go to the box office purely upon how well a teaser trailer is crafted?
usually over the years I have found that the flashier a teaser and the more often its shown the odds are that the show itself is a dog, I’m just saying what I see.
