Eisenhower had concentration camps photographed and documented. The death camps were all in Poland, or areas the Germans took from Poland.

Technically Poland ceased to exist in September 1939. The Germans wanted to obliterate the country from the map and they did do that. The Eastern parts were grabbed by the Soviet union who hung on to them even after 1945 and pushed out Poles from the eastern lands.

Those were all German camps on German territory which is now Polish territory
