It’s exciting that young people are becoming more conservative.
Maybe it’s rebellion against their baby boom parents.
I know I noticed in some polling a while back that people in their 30s like myself were more conservative than people in their 20s or 40s. I think it’s because we grew up in the ‘80s under Reagan. People growing up more in the ‘70s and ‘90s probably suffered through more negative spin on Republicans. I remember hearing a few bad things about Reagan growing up, but nothing ever stuck. To me he seemed like a model President, and I never understood why anyone would view him negatively.
