The more he talks, the more he repulses me.

I will never vote for him. Third party or write in for President and then vote a straight R ticket and hope for gridlock to be the least of our worries.

God have mercy on us.

Our collective goal is to shove each and every one of those words down the throat of Mitt Romney. Down the throat of the media, and down the throat of the GOP-e.

I detest elitist snobs and A** Clowns - so I guess that means I loathe Mitt Romney... I couldn’t even hold my nose to vote for this classless man.

I am really having a hard time understanding some things, maybe someone here can enlighten me. I am totally behind Gingrich, he is saying exactly what I had hoped to hear from a Repub candidate, and he is not afraid to call things as they are. He also completely understands that as a nation we are at a crossroads, and that this election is what will determine if we remain a free society. Santorum says similar, but Gingrich pulls no punches. Mittens on the other hand, is nothing but a younger McLame. So here is my quandary.

This morning I was listening to Mark Davis here in Dallas - I'm not a fan, his voice irritates me but I was looking for something to listen to since I will no longer listen to Beck.
Anyway, a caller was explaining why he felt Newt was the candidate and Davis wouldn't really listen, then said yes, Newt is the conservative but he is not electable, and that if Romney goes against odumbo he has a good chance, Newt not so much.

I just don't understand where they are coming from with this. Romney has no guts, is not going fix anything and clearly is a scumbag. They keep saying Newt can't beat Obama. Why not? I can see him mopping the floor with him, and not just in debates but in the clear difference in ideals. I can't see Romney beating Obama - to me, the idiot public that doesn't pay attention will think well, he's not much different so lets just stick with obama.....For the life of me I cannot understand why they are pushing so hard for romney.

And another thing.... they keep talking about how this is turning into a nasty race and how Newt is just being "mean" to Robomney.... excuse me? Newt didn't start this crap, and it's clear the level of personal destruction Robomney is willing to go to.... he compaign even stated they are out to destroy Newt.... but Newt's the bad guy? WTF? What am I missing? Is Newt really devil or something?

But Romney, the self indulgent twit that he is, just can’t help twisting the knife and gloating.

THAT's the word!! "Gloating." Thank you! I've been reading through these posts and thinking about the audio I've heard on hourly news reports featuring Romney talking about the voting tomorrow. In 2007-08, Romney supporters here on Free Republic, UNLIKE the supporters of any of the other candidates, whether it was Giulianni, Thompson, Huckabee, or McCain, the Romney supporters consistently exhibited all the traits of the kind of bad sports we knew in school -- you remember, the ones who blamed everyone but themselves when they lost, complained, whined, lashed out, and were -- bad sports.

And when Romney lost, I thanked God often that he lost because bad sports are as disgusting in victory as they are in defeat. When bad sports win -- and I think probably all of us can think back on school sports with bad sports -- when they win, they're cocky, they GLOAT -- the lord it over the losing players, they chortle and gloat. They're sh*theels top to bottumus.

Romney's supporters on FR were PILLS. They were pills when their guy lost, and they'd have been pills if he'd won.

No matter what the vote count is, the truth is that Mitt Romney will ALWAYS be a loser.

There are so many uninformed talk show hosts and now we can add Mark Davis to the list.
They just don’t get it.
They have no basis for making the comment that Newt is unelectable.

Only a true jerk goes up and gloats before the votes have been cast ....

Seriously. What a low class act.

And thinking about what Rush said today ...that it’s just POLITICS that we have all this nastiness - and that sometimes it IS who has the most money ....

Well, how much of the money Romney has spent in florida really from donations and/or everyday voters?? It’s HIS money. HE is buying this election!!

Big difference between that and what Newt and others raise through MOSTLY individual smaller donations.

I’m so dismayed by all of this pay to play ...

You aren’t missing much at all. As with most of us around here, up until The Willard’s cowardly sliming of Newt in Iowa and SC, we all knew The Willard was a compulsive liar and at least as big an idiot as his line bred daddy, Jorge W. Romney. But, except for the more serious observers with more detailed data sets on The Willard, most of us, even after Iowa and SC, didn’t realize that The Willard is a truly evil piece of fascist scum with no compunction whatsoever about using the Big Lie tactic when he is in trouble, a la Goebbels, Alinsky, Marx, Walter Duranty, etc., etc. How stupid is he? For openers, he’s sufficiently stupid, apparently, to think that after all of his Goebbelian petit mal seizures, foaming at the mouth with his eyes as crazy as any meth freak, he has a chance of keeping enough of the independent vote to beat the chimp. Not going to happen. Add to that the fact that he hasn’t produced all of his tax returns, or the exact sources of any capital contributions he paid into Bain however slight. Nor has he explained how many other draft age Mormons were designated as ‘ministers of religion’, thereby ending up with 2 1/2 years of draft deferrals during the height of the VietNam war. In short, The Willard’s VietNam record of draft avoidance makes John Kerry look like a patriot. While the precise facts surrounding Willard’s curious immunity fron the draft appear to have been pulled from the web, they will be brought to light in the sad event that he becomes the nominee. He’s damaged goods, and a snake, bigtime.

What a nasty way to treat a fellow republican. Let me write the speech he should have given: Newt has been a formidable opponent, and I hope that when this primary season ends, that we will be as great friends as we have been great opponents. I hope that all of us together, whether you supported me or one of my wonderful fellow republicans in the primary will work defeat the real enemy, Barak Obama. People, I think we have the Florida election in the bag thanks to the support of all of you here, and throughout the great state of Florida, and I thank you. And to Newt, this was a fight well fought, my friend. Now let us take this fight to Obama where it belongs! But he say any such thing, and I hope somehow that nasty man loses. And I will note vote for him, EVER

That’s just it, Davis said that but the. Didn’t back it up with any information to substantiate it. I’m surprised be didn’t just say “because I said so!”

I have to say the one thing I miss about Perry being in the race was he made Robomney lose his cool! Hannity mentioned tha Perry is out campaigning for Newt, thought that was good to hear.

Recently when mark davis was substituting for Rush I heard him go through the usual list of Gingrich baggage, ie the wife, fannie mae, freddie mac, the reprimand, fine, etc. If he had done any due diligence at all he would have known that most of what he was spouting was BS.

Upshot: mark davis is a complete imbecile whose claim to fame consists of being able to talk without a stutter.

Yes, I would like to know, for example where the “capital” in Bain Capital came from? Was that capital his family inheritance or did he build that capital up first, to have the means to invest in all these firms he “rescued” or whatever he did with them?
Somehow I think it was inherited money but no one ever told us that I know of.

And what that distills down to is, Romney is just an incompetent politician. He is awful at politicking. He just doesn’t get it.

The democrats are going to roll him.

You're right -- that's what it boils down to.

To be honest, he would NEED to be rolled if, God forbid, he won the GOP nom. People who tell themselves that Romney would be a lesser evil than Obama are kidding themselves. He is fully as depraved and destructive as Obama.
