I am posting this, even though there are so many more excellent prayers on this thread. We have many people saying this particular prayer aloud 3 times during the day tomorrow by 7 pm, when polls close in Florida. If you feel led, please join us by faith. We pray the prayer aloud, touching our computer screens as we pray, in a prayer of agreement under God in Heaven.

Lord, we are true believers. You have been our refuge for all of our lives. We have waited on you with holy fear and sacred awe.
And now, with the Holy Spirit to help us, we open our mouths.
Like David, we have marshaled our thoughts like men of war and, like arrows, we take straight aim with our prayers.
Lord, we have looked well and long at our opponents – we have seen the white of each eye. Our vision is fixed upon each one. We direct our prayers with all of our strength, we let our arrows fly.
When the arrows and shaft, and our prayers, have left our hands, Lord, then will we look up. We will look and see where our arrows have gone and what effect each has had. We expect, Oh, Lord, according to Your Word, an answer to our prayers, which we offer you now.

THAT sure isn’t scriptural, EVERYONE of us have broken the ten commandments. Seems to me some, even on FR, need to check their hearts and renew their relationship with Jesus Christ.
In fact as I was praying for this country last night and for Newt Gingrich. It occurred to me that many are revealing their true “lack of” walk with God and just maybe that is why there is a Santorum, Romney, and Newt Gingrich.
Where is our FAITH in GOD? Maybe THAT is what God is doing to this Country and to you and to me and everyone else individually.
