Let me start by asking you how your daughter is doing. You had a bit of a scare this weekend. Your 3-year-old was in intensive care.

And the one day I was home, actually, to get my taxes so we could turn those in, turned out to be a day I needed to be home. And she -- she went through a very, very tough time. But yesterday afternoon, she really -- she really rallied. And she's doing -- she's doing much better and we feel -- we feel things are good and that I can get back out on the road and that Karen and the kids can now take it from here.
But it was, it was hairy. I just want to thank you and everybody else for their prayers during this time. And it meant the world to us. And I know it helped Bella a lot.
KING: Well, we'll continue to pray for Bella. Now that you are back on the trail, you mentioned you went home to get your taxes. And that question has come up.

That is a rather odd analysis, considering that Specter himself won the race 2 years before - the same voters were going to vote against Santorum for having supported the same person they elected 2 years before?
Santorum was defeated because he was running in a state with a Dem tilt in a landslide year for the Democrats and against the son of a very popular former governor on top of all of that. Santorum got the base conservative vote - and those are the only people who voted for him...he lost everyone else.

No, Newt did not divorce a wife who has cancer. Maybe you should quit repeating liberal talking points and do some research.
Maybe they don’t like Romney because his a liberal, not because he’s a Mormon.
As far as Santorum, I have not problem with him continuing to campaign with his daughter sick. I’m sure she’s being very well taken care of by her mother. It’s up to him and his wife.
He did in fact leave the campaign trail until she became stable. You sit here and post as though he just stayed out there campaigning the whole time.
I like Rick and if he was in front and Newt behind by a lot then I’d have voted for Rick but right now surely Rick knew he screwed up in FL.

In this interview, Santorum said he left the Florida campaign trail to review his taxes, not to be with his daughter.
Please explain yourself before I zot you. Are you really playing the “hate him because he’s Mormon” card and are you going to continue pulling the GOP-e baggage cart?

I was only talking to Jimbo who I know dislikes Mormons. I haven’t been criticizing Newt on this board in the past. I won’t criticize him anymore.
