-- A local radio guy here in LA said that there was a poll that showed 51% of Florida Republicans described themselves as moderates. Only 29% said they were Conservatives. --

The state elected Crist governor. 'nuf said.

$17 million to win 50 delegates.......that is a cost of $340,000 per delegate to the convention.

IF he continues to spend at the same rate to get the 1144 votes needed, it will cost him $388,960,000 just to get to the convention.

What will he then have to spend to get past Obama????

Terrific book. I have asked people to read it a few times.

Obviously the media treachery has been going on a long time.

and here indications are written 1952. If so she must have been talking with Ayn Rand. This is in her vein (nothing wrong with that)

Unless Rick’s in it to manipulate the voters, it’s time for him to bail.

Little Rickie's in it to see himself on tellybision. That's why he skied off to Missouri yesterday and Colorado today, where dana bash was jacking him off live on CNN, setting him up for the big shoot-down later.

Simple fart ought to go back to doing his taxes in Bumf*ck Pennsylvania where he can no longer screw up anything or hurt anybody.

This is the beginning of the end of the Washingtonians, and in case you haven't noticed, the LAW in this country is no more followed and adhered to than it is in any Banana Republic.

Therefore, not too concerned about the SCOTUS, they mean nothing, and the blue bloods and country clubbers at the RNC are the biggest impediment to fighting the domestic communists, and must be neutralized.

You are right, Old.

I sent messages to some GOP elitists today telling them that I will vote for Romney on a cold day in hell..and they wrote back to say I would be making a huge mistake by not supporting him.
One told me that it is most important that we get Independents to vote GOP..and a Romnuts will ensure that we get those votes. You should have seen my response.
I went all Reagan/Galt on ‘em...at least I feel better.

Ma’am, it’s time to name names. Would you please tell us the names of the elites you sent the emails too?

I’d like to send them a few thoughts from this conservative in fly-over country. Unemployment high and new jobs scarce, national debt at 15 trillon, my son’s military being shredded to bits, Dodd/Frank costing my husband and I 20k of equity in our home should we sell. None of this effects the elites in our party, but it sure hurts the base. And if you lose the base, you’ve lost everything.

The Party, what little will remain of it after the Conservatives leave, will be united behind Mitt.

Remember, Churchill didn't become, couldn't become, PM after Munich. Nor after the occupation of Prague. Not even after panzers were rolling through Poland, and war was declared. Not until the Nazis were headed for the Channel was it possible to break the mold of the old way.

We're oh so close. With God's grace, we as a republic, this grand experiment in self guidance, will recognize it before it's too late. The darkness is upon us. Pray for guidance, pray for deliverance, and pray for our republic.

Lately, I've been reading the founder's documents, and am humbled at their prescience. Damn, what I'd give for just an hour, and a mug of ale with them.

““Romney may move toward his roots more than we think. Let’s hope and keep nudging him along.”

GOP hopey changey?

Good luck with that, you and the other Romney booster here.”

No I backed Perry but he’s no longer a candidate. So I’m moving on to see Obama move on.

You don’t like it. Well you don’t like much then so good luck. We’ll pray Romney is given the faculty to make the right moves and save Our Country.

Our nation needs leadership.

It was a combination of the early votes, the blitz of attack ads that came in at the last minute and the split of the conservative vote.

Newt and Rick S. together would have been a dead heat with Romney.

This is what they are banking on, but it will be worse than 2008. McCain was McCain, a patriot, a war hero, the son of an admiral, the author of the McCain surge, which finally won the Iraq War (until Zero screwed it up), someone who cared about the people although he made many big mistakes, and the conservatives still stayed home in droves. Imagine what will happen with this snake.

Plus when the hoi polloi fully realize how rich he is and what his attitude is toward workers, he will lose whatever crossover he might have had.

I also sense that those who once said they would vote for the candidate no matter who it was are now falling away and saying they cannot do it. At least two people very close to me, so that could be indicative of more.

When the third and fourth parties emerge, then the circus will really begin. We thought we saw chaos up to this point.

Tonight, I give the Conservative Badge of Honor to Rick Santorum!

Notice how the most liberal candidate, Mitt, came in first in this liberal state. Mitt Romney also won in LIBERAL New Hampshire.

Newt came in 2nd, and he’s the 2nd most conservative, but Rick Santorum, the most conservative candidate, in this liberal state, came in THIRD!

Each candidate won at least one contest, and Romney won two, but both of Romney’s wins were in liberal states!

Now that liberal Florida is behind us, on to the more conservative states.

No offense to any Floridians, who are conservative, because I am a conservative in a liberal state as well.
