I have personally met Mitt Romney and spoken with him face to face. He is a true gentleman and it is right for him to be the GOP nominee for President.
People really need to understand and realize that he has conservative values and wants to do the right thing for our country. He is not a liberal as Gingrich is trying to point out - the truth is that he is a conservative.
He wants to get this country back on the right track, stop the excessive spending in Washington DC, and reinvigorate the US economy.
If any of you ever had a chance to meet him you would realize that he looks you directly in the eye when he speaks to you and he speaks with a level of professionalism that garners tremendous respect.
Sounds like you were snowed by a smooth talker. How do you explain his position on Obamacare, for example?
He has never been Conservative, and he has always pandered, lied about his real intentions and especially caters to Democrats.
He always has, and he always will. You are a sucker for believing your own rhetoric and America will now see another Obama term. Romeny can't win against them.
I am now going 3rd party, or I will just stay home and dig a bunker to withstand the chaos ahead. The only thing that could possibly change my mind will be a brokered convention and if we can reverse this insanity.
Why in the world are you pushing Romney on this site?
Jeffrey Dalmer was a nice guy also....so is Santa Clause...
Are you new here? Or haven’t been engaged here for months .. or whatever?
Ooh .. I know ... he’s SOOOOO nice ... looks you right in the eye and everything ...
Do you actually naively believe a candidate in the middle of a hot campaign is NOT going to be nice and cordial, to reveal his dark side and past to you, a stranger?
Flip flopper on abortion, friend and collaborator with Teddy Kennedy on socialized healthcare in MA .... etc. etc. etc. .. NO HOW!
Better yet, here’s just one of the MANY statements from the onwer of this site on the subject, which you should’ve seen if you spend much time here ... and he MEANS it! Listen up!

Romney not a threat? Right.
Romney and his supporters are now pushing RomneyCare as a conservative, free market, states rights solution to healthcare.
RomneyCare = ObamaCare in all respects. It is not free market, it is not conservatism and it is not states rights.
Just the opposite. RomneyCare is a top-down, government devised, government approved, government forced, socialist, intrusive, oppressive mandate against the free citizens of a state. Its no less socialist, no less intrusive, no less oppressive whether forced on the people at the state level or forced on the people at the federal level. Its the same damn thing!!
RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government force = oppression = socialism = taxpayer funded abortion = death panels = tyranny!!
We are the resistance!!
Dont say we didnt warn you.
Shove Romney/RomneyCare down our throats now, we shove Romney up your Donkeys in November!!
Rebellion is ON!!
NO ROMNEY, NO WAY!!
Mitt happens!!

Mitt is a vile, despicable, power-lusting fraud. Mitt HATES conservatives and would do ALL in his power to increase the power of the State.
Mitt or Obama on election day?? Hum, how do you vote for the equal of evils?
Nothing on this Earth will every get me to cast a vote for that fruad.
Sure.
Why don’t you go ahead and list the issues that you claim Romney is conservative on.
I will not get into whether Mitt is a conservative or not ...let other people do that. What I will focus on is what you said in the section I have excerpted above. I have worked in the fund management industry for 8 years now - pension fund management, wealth management and private equity. One of the first things we are taught and re-taught is how to project confidence and competence. It is an absolute necessity whether you are trying to convince a big pension fund to invest in a new sector, a family office in Dubai to invest in East Africa, or getting commitments for a pension fund. It is not just what you know but how to show you know it (or at the very least as if you know it). Thus, one's ability to 'look at someone' directly in the eye, or speak 'with a level of professionalism that garners tremendous respect' is not a measure that has any level of efficacy. Not a darn iota. Especially considering that Mr Romney, as a key principal at Bain, must be far far far far better than I am ...and I happen to be extremely good.
His conservative values (or lack of) are an area for much debate, as is his vision for America and his principles as a leader. Voters will make their selection and nominate who they think is the best person to take the fight to Obama.
However - looking someone directly in the eye and speaking in an adept manner that conveys consummate professionalism is a beginner's trick in High Finance. Goodness, we were even taught how to control the cadence of our speech depending on who the audience was.
