These Gingrich hooligan-fans are not doing Newt any favors. We all knew he had encyclopedic, aspergers-like command of knowledge. We all knew he’d done the Contract with America. But in the last decade or so, he’d done enough crazy and and things that everyone at FR knew he was NOT a viable presidential candidate. Then when he fired all his staff last summer, not one of us was surprised.

But when he hit hard in the debates on the media, we were out of our seats cheering. I was, for certain. Still, to choose him as the nominee... After one early debate, I started wondering on here if we should go with newt. Only a few people admitted they were wondering The same, but I think most were waiting for Sarah. Then Cain started to bring it.

The negatives about Newt have always been well known. The Newters need to understand that when people know a candidate well and still don’t like him, there is little chance of gaining their vote. And that chance goes down to slim when the fans are rabid and mean.
