Well, Gingrich has certainly put it all on the line, knowing that he would be excoriated with his personal problems.

He knew what the Establishment would do and he is serving his country fighting Liberal E guy Romney.

To those who want to criticize I’d just say this about him being in the meat grinder...

Where is Palin?
Is Rush advocating for Conservatism and singling out Romney?

Gingrich is the primary player in the the fight to stop the RINO GOP Establishment and unseat the Usurper.

If people disagree with Gingrich or don’t support him...fine.

But questioning his sacrifice when some of our heroes have done little to nothing but play it safe to keep their lucrative punditry deals, is lacking.

It’s a great line, but it was written and subscribed to (in the Declaration) by men who would indeed have lost their fortunes and lives if they had not won. Newt doesn’t face that prospect if he loses — he would remain rich and alive — so I was a bit uncomfortable with the invocation of that particular bit of our Framers’ rhetoric. Not picking on Newt particularly here (other than, y’know, HE is the one who just USED the line!), as I wouldn’t like it if anyone not facing the same grim fate were to use the line.

Exactly which “sacrifice” are you referring to?

You mean paying himself and his own companies thousands of dollars from his campaign funds? What, exactly, are you talking about? What “sacrifice?”

His political career was dead before his candidacy, a career that he used to enrich himself on the connections that he made while in office. So, once again, what sacrifice are you talking about?

Or do you mean that he sacrificed his “sacred honor” to run for president? Your statement is confusing to me.
