If Romney becomes the nominee he will have to endure a lot worse than quotes being taken out of context. The entire MSM will work with the Obama Administration to destroy him. I understand that the MSM will take this and any other statements Republicans make out of context to try to make them look bad.

My point was simply that his entire statement was ok. I agree that we should be concerned with the 95% who are struggling.

I never said Romney or Republicans should be concerned with the 95% who are struggling. In fact, I don't agree with that statement at all.

Moreover, your view that his entire statement is "ok" is complete gibberish. I understand what Romney meant by his entire statement, but he said it badly. In fact, the articulation of Mitt's point was so woefully poor that it should disqualify him as a politician.

In the end, only 10% of the country (active Romney supporters) will view his comments favorably.

40% of the country (Democrats) will use Romney's comments to bury him with another 25% (independents). And the Democrats will be aided in that effort by the 5% nutjob Paulistas and the remaining 20% (principled conservatives who can't stand Mitt).

In what universe is it "ok" to make an inarticulate comment that is viewed negatively by 90% of the population?
