I should probably be a bit more compassionate and understanding but I have to admit to some feelings of schadenfreude about this.

I have never been one of Ann’s fan base. I’ve always had the feeling that she was more of an entertainer than a serious pundit. Her gimmick was saying outrageous things that got her a lot of publicity, got her talked about a lot, got her invited onto a lot of shows (and to a lot of parties) and of course, sold a lot of books.

In other words, she milked the Conservative base of the country for bucks, and took them laughing to the bank.

It’s only now that we are finding out her real positions. I honestly expect her to come out as bi soon. Her embrace of GOP Proud would make a lot more sense then.

She is an entertainer but she had great one liners and wit at times. She was fun to listen to—until now.

I would not really mind her switch—really-—but she had some influence and the damage that will be done if Romney runs at such a critical time in this country will be devastating to this nation-—if not totally destroying it-—he will lose and if he doesn’t—he will continue on the zero road to destruction. It is so disheartening to know the Marxist have control of both parties at the top.

I can’t have any compassion for her in such a critical period in American history.
