Donald Trump will endorse Mitt Romney for president, sources with knowledge of the endorsement tell CNN.

His stock here sure seems to be more high flying than at any other time than I can remember.

There are a good many who care, but few who are willing to get off their behinds to do anything about it. If the election is highjacked, it will get sorted out real fast between the backbenchers and those who are willing to put their life on the line for liberty.
This primary is a big mess. All of a sudden people are happy with Trump? Since when does he have conservative principles? Never. We are really lowering the meaning of conservative this round. They always say that the Democrats keep going to the left. We I believe fully that the ENTIRE Republican party (conservatives included) have gone left and perhaps more than the Democrats as far as direction. Of course the Democrats are still more left than the Republicans but it is getting closer and closer everyday.
You can hire my editors. They recently left in a huff...something about overworked/underpaid or sum-such.

Well, it’s not CNN, it’s a blog as near as I can tell, although this guy is obviously very senior there.
Even so, seems to be he/they would look ridiculous if it turned out to be Newt. I think it would be exactly the opposite of ‘blunting the effect’ it would make it into a much bigger story than it otherwise would be.
Unfortunately, I think the endorsement will be for Romney. We will soldier on.

doesn’t make since, I don’t believe this. Trump is going to make his announcement in Vegas today... Gingrich is having a rally in Vegas today... makes since that Trump would make the announcement at that rally.
I think CNN is wrong.

Romney is in Reno today, Gingrich is the only one in Vegas where Trump is going to make his announcement
Jaimie Dupree is talking on the Neal Boortz show and they said Trump is the master of promotion and nobody really knows who it is until it happens. Meanwhile, Gingrich haters are bashing Trump for endorsing him so if it ends up to be Romney, they are stuck with what they wrote.
We’ll see. Maybe he’ll throw up his hands and endorse Snooki. At any rt you know he’s lovin the spotlight.
