Apparently he does, with people who don’t follow politics but do watch TV (apprentice.)

I’m not sure if it is just about money. He was humiliated by the libs at the Press Dinner. I remember the look on his face. He may actually think that Romney has the best chance of winning. I think he is more interested in getting back at the libs who slammed him for the birth certificate stuff. It’s stupid for people in pop culture to take sides, it costs them money. Remember Oprah, the Dixie Chicks, etc. He is alienating people by taking a side.

I get the celebrity rich guy thing, and that’s all I consider him to be. I don’t know why his political endoresement carries any more weight than any other celebrity’s would. I’m assuming there’s stuff he’s involved in that goes on behind the scenes, because a number of the candidates paid him a visit. Publicly, he has his opinions and that’s fine. But that aside, I’ve always just considered him an egotist and a blowhard and, politically, a potential demagogue.

I know there’s been a desire among a lot of conservatives for a person with business experience. There’s no doubt he has that. But as someone on the radio here pointed out, Trump has managed to accomplish something that is nearly impossible — he bankrupted two casinos.
