It’s convenient to have a candidate like Gingrich who attracts the unserious, the unpresidential, the uninformed and the unpalatable all in one convenient locale. It saves the time and effort needed to determine who is a credible Republican and who is not (Gingrich supporters). The move is yet another boost for Rick Santorum, who definitely is in the category of responsible and credible candidates (whatever you think of his views) and has been struggling to wean the base off its attraction to Gingrich.

I believe the early “leak” attributed to the Gingrich campaign probably came from the romney campaign to attract attention to the endorsement as well as an “in your face” kind of embarassment to Newt. I believe romney and his minions are that juvenile and un-principled. Not that much different than obama and rahm.
So Trump changed his mind? I thought he endorsed Romney this morning.

Rush Limbaugh said today that a whole lot of bloggers for Romney were bashing Newt and Trump today and would be eating crow later since he is endorsing Romney. Looks like a lot of snakes were caught in their own snares today. LOL!

Agreed. I frigg’n can’t stand Romney. Despise him with a passion.
However, I believe he beats Obama in a landslide. Repubs will be forced to vote for him and democrats will not so much mind voting for another ‘republican’ Democrat.

I agree with you 100%! it was a deliberate attempt to humiliate Newt. Mitt is hoping Newt explodes with anger...he sent staffers all over Fla to disrupt Newt’s rallys. It was bad enough when he lied about Gingrich in his campaign ads but last debate he LIED right on the stage.

Cavuto had Trump on the phone today and Fox showed Newt walking down the hallway somewhere and the media shoved mics in his face to get his reaction. He threw his hands up in the air and said “Amazing what someone will do to get attention! Just amazing!” (may not be the exact quote) but Cavuto told Trump he sounds ticked. Trump said he understood and he liked Newt and thought a lot of him. Almost an hour later, the Gingrich campaign released negative statements Trump has recently made about Romney to the media! This is going to get nasty!
News sources said it was Newt’s camp that leaked the info....so if that is true does it not make Newt’s minions juvenile and un-principled and not that much different than obama and rahm?
What the hell’s going on with this post. Trump endorsed Mittens around noon today, and Drudge says the same thing. Is this jerk from this planet?
What the hell is she talking about? I’m totally confused.
At least I know what I’ll do with Jennifer Rubin’s columns from now on.
Newt will be on Hannity tonight by the way. I will be curious to see what he has to say.
I hear Trump likes to fire people, too.
And what of his precious issue of “China”? I haven’t really heard much about China since Huntsman ordered dinner in Mandarin during a debate.
