I'm reminded of Venezuela and the fractious groups that gave Hugo Chavez an unopposed path -- so now there is only his path as he controls the army, the oil, the supreme court, the education -- the whole shebang. And yet his opposition still argues and remains weak in numbers due to their division. Often, while they still had a chance, I'd hoped they'd come to their senses and stand behind ONE of their leaders and combine their groups to move against Chavez, but they didn't. And they have forever lost the opportunity.

Across America, state Republican parties and legislators are pursuing the opponents they most despise with renewed vigor.
You would think that the targets of these efforts are President Barack Obama and Democratic Party officeholders who are hell-bent on turning America into a financially broken, post-constitutional, Washington-controlled playground safe only for crony capitalists and regulators gone wild. You would be wrong.
In Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Utah, to name just four, state GOP establishments are laboring mightily to marginalize the millions of constitutional conservatives whose activist energy (but not their outlook) dates back to the beginnings of the Tea Party movement three years ago.
