How is the GOP trying to pick our candidate? Can't you vote for whomever you want? I did. I voted for Perry. No one is going to tell me how I have to vote.

We only vote for candidates which are not career politicians

And this website is supporting Newt? Isn't Newt more of a career politician than Romney?

If you honestly can't see that by now, then you've been spending too much time on Fox News and not enough time on Free Republic. :-)

Your candidate (at the time you voted) is no longer running. He dropped out and is supporting Newt. If you trust his judgement enough to vote for him, wouldn't his endorsement of Newt tell you something?

If you don't see the concerted effort among the republican establishment GOP regulars against the outsiders, then you need trifocals, grandma.

Of course you can, but it could be like voting for Pee Wee Herman. Not much likelihood the he would win, and pretty much a pointless vote.

Yes, of course he is, but that's the choices we've been given by the GOP-E and the liberals. Due the the trashing of the good conservatives, in the last three or more years, by the GOP-e, the liberals, and the liberal propaganda arm that is the main stream media. In order to ensure they can't garner any popularity, by using comedy, ridicule and smear tactics.
