In a profanity-laced tirade, a Memphis DJ last week used an on-air interview to berate a local Republican congressional candidate -- calling her a "token negro" who is doing the bidding of "white folk."
DJ Thaddeus Matthews called Charlotte Bergmann, who is black, "stupid." He referred to her as a "curly-haired nigga." When she walked out of the interview, he refused to shake her hand, saying he didn't want to get her "whiteness" on him.
The outrage? The fury? In Memphis, you can hear the crickets.
Bergmann told FoxNews.com that, while the web video of the interview has gotten a lot of attention on blogs, local media are largely ignoring it. She said she hasn't gotten any calls from politicians about it. "No organization has spoken out," Bergmann said. ...

btw I think the blues he plays is probably closer to what many would call soul/R&B. (Maybe more like the Malaco sound?) In defense of Memphis (I’m
from Boston area, and am a white man who plays blues on
college radio) we can’t forget the major force the city has played in terms of blues, soul, and rock. Stax Records,
Sun, Rufus Thomas, Elvis, Booker T and the MGs, W.C. Handy,
Beale Street, B.B. King, Memphis Minnie, Memphis Slim, etc.
Even the “blue eyed soul” of Alex Chilton and the Box Tops, who used to shop at Poplar Tunes (record store) on Poplar
Ave.

The black leaders there have said this was not a racial incident or a hate crime. The spokeswoman went on to say that because some of these words were shouted it doe snot mean this was a the crime or a racial incident.
Bit like the DOJ and our crap bias MSM saying allah akbar while shooting soldiers at FT Hood did not have religion involved.
A black guy is called a name and the MSM runs the story for a week.
Remember in MD when a paki muslim woman was walking with her husband and her baby and then was shot.
The husband said that a car came by with people shouting racist and religious abuse.
The MSM was right on this story, they had their vans parked there at the scene and it was the big story, a couple of days later they found it was the husband who set all of it up and that there are no car with people shouting racist and religious abuse.
Now it was really weird because as soon as the police chief came out with the facts the MSM vans and the MSM went away and the story stopped all of a sudden.
Nah no bias from this MSM, is there.
Maybe the MSM, including FOX and the pro homo, pro cross dresser Megyn Kelly , shep smith, Geraldo, Hannity, big mouth O.R. Colmes, Beckel, and of coutrse their new employee the soros media matters, homosexual activist stooge Sally Khon needs to read the news here and find out what real America is as it is not their elitist cocktail parties etc

Oh, I’m way past being polite when the issue of idiots playing the “race card” is concerned. That just makes me mad and gets me calling them out on their lack of a rational argument on whatever issue is at hand. Which is invariably the case if the race card is played.
Of all the dozens of places I’ve lived, Memphis was my least favorite.
