What bothers me is that either in the case of a nuke going off 200 miles over us, or a really bad solar flare, we're vulnerable.

And either way, we're not protected.

I see this as a civil defense issue that is within the pervue of congress to regulate, and they have chosen not to.

I personally think when it was brought up, their eyes glazed over and it went to comittees and study groups that died on the vine. They ain't too bright.
