That half time commercial by Clint Eastwood should have been a Republican commercial about defeating Obama!

That's what my husband said... he liked it. I'm not sure if the ad was pro-conservative or pro-(bailout) liberal.

Just reading through the thread and seeing comments regarding the Clint Eastwood commercial, I have to chime in.

I realize some are saying since this was a commercial for Chrysler, a government bailed out company, that it was technically an add to re-elect Obama. Or that Eastwood was "shilling" for Obama.

And I beg to differ. Knowing Clint Eastwood leans more libertarian than liberal and that he was on the Cain train at one point, I'd have to say, this was about exactly what he said - Bringing America back. Eastwood has even said, He's no fan of Obama!

I liked the commercial and heard a rallying cry within the message of the ad. No, it didn't inspire me to buy a govt motors car, and no it definitely didn't inspire me to vote for Obama. Quite the contrary. I believe in America, and I believe the message of the ad, that WE will come back and build this country stronger. The AMERICAN PEOPLE. Not the government. And I also believe the MAJORITY of Americans BELIEVE in this country, and the SPIRIT of this country and would also agree, NO MORE OBAMA.
