The Russians have reason to be this serious. Lest anyone forget, it was low oil prices that collapsed the Soviet Union. Like hell they want to go through that again. This is deadly serious.
The only fix is to do what Reagan did: Increase access to domestic energy development to bring down prices. It would weaken the Russians so that we could take out Iran from within, completely.
I do not believe for one minute we are where we are because people dithered. Where we are, was a calculated satanic poke in the eye of America. Sarah Palin's 'drill - baby - drill' should have awakened a bunch of mushy brains and spines.... Look at what the 'establishment' and some big time egos have done to drown out that call. I do not like what Russia does, but I sure can't blame them for taking advantage of what $0R0$ empire has set in motion.

Gentlemen:
The U.S. intelligence community believes that Iran is prepared to launch terrorist attacks inside the United States in response to perceived threats from America and its allies, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the Senate Tuesday morning in an open hearing. In prepared testimony given to the U.S. Select Committee on Intelligence, Clapper stated than an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to the United States shows a shift in Tehran’s strategy towards a willingness to plot and conduct attacks within the U.S.
The spy chief’s concerns come amidst increased saber rattling from Iran
with regard to the Strait of Hormuz, and tightening U.S. sanctions aimed at
curbing the Iranian nuclear program.
Clapper’s testimony regarding the threat from Iran was delivered as part of the U.S. intelligence community’s annual overview of the primary national security challenges facing the United States. His testimony also singled out cyber-related threats, and the weakened but persistent threat Al Qaeda and its affiliates pose to the U.S
It’s unsettling to me that anyone in military or foreign policy circles can view such a development without alarm. On a deeper note, this is just the latest episode of gross incompetence, stupidity, and outright malevolent and traitorous neglect of our national security by our President and Commander-in-Chief, Barack Obama. Chief, we are beyond mincing words here: Given time, this dolt is going to get a lot of us killed.
The danger to our Republic, our Constitution, our liberties and our very lives from the likes of Barack Obama is very real: Our Marxist President with his radical agenda foreign to our heritage has his finger on the nuclear trigger. His paternity and citizenship is suspect. He takes great pains to hide his background from us. He was educated by Muslims, Communists, and Harvard elitists, enemies all. He emerged into the public eye from the cesspool of Chicago politics. As a “community organizer”, he got poor folks on the dole and squandered public funds in a failed attempt to subvert public schools to an ideological agenda. He attended a Chicago church whose hate-America Pastor is a foul-mouthed servant of the Devil. He is close friends with known terrorists. He admires and bows before oil potentates and tin-pot dictators. He treats America’s traditional allies with contempt. He hates America, Israel, Jews, and Whitey. He lies so easily and so often it is troubling. I don’t even have to tell you that Barack Obama knows nothing of history, couldn’t care less about those who wear the uniform, and based on his past & current associations, would never even qualify for a DOD Security Clearance – and now he is Commander in Chief and fecklessly taking steps to disarm us in the sight of our enemies.
Does that make you feel safe at night, Gentlemen? Something is very wrong with this.
You would be remiss in your duty to our Nation if you did not have plans in place to deal with this Commander-in-Chief. Someone needs to prepare for when Barack Hussein Obama either 1. self-destructs or, 2. commits outright treason by willfully allowing our enemies to gain a strategic advantage over us, through incompetence or neglect, or 3. willfully surrendering us to our enemies. If you do not now have such plans, I implore you in the name of God to proceed with all haste. Our Nation and posterity may well be at stake.
We already know that this President is willfully attempting the destruction of our sacred Constitution, which you have taken a solemn oath to uphold, and given enough time, will demand personal allegiance to himself, something which he has already once attempted.
Gentlemen, President Lincoln called our Nation “the last best hope of Earth”. If we go down, there is no one else to take up the torch of Liberty. I know that should the time come, both you and I won’t go down without a fight. May God Bless America.

We’re between a rock and a hard place with Russia and the kenyan on Iran’s side.
This Russian assclown called Syria a “stable” country.
If this fool believes that, then he’s either a mental case or strung out on narcotics.
Obama is correctly perceived by the rest of the world as weak. The Russians and Chinese are making threats in the hope and belief that Obama will fold like a cheap tent when push comes to shove.
Meanwhile, when the Israelis say “Never Again!”, they mean it.

When the Army took Hussein's army down, we should have put the calling card on Ahmadinejad's front door. Instead, the UN swapped their people in there (Bremer et al.) and we got into "nation building," again. How's that working out?

The Russkies should celebrate an attack on Iran - the price of oil will skyrocket and the Russians, a world leader in oil production, will be rolling in the dough.

The Russians would attack the US over here and in Europe. The Russians and Chinese would launch a combined attack on our bases in South Korea and Japan (with NorKor infantry doing the ground fighting in S.Korea), and China would invade Taiwan.
