I didn’t watch the game, much less the halftime show. One has to wonder what audience the NFL is trying to appeal to when booking the halftime show?
The in-person audiences at SB’s have usually paid a barrel of money to attend. Is that what they want to see? For the past few years the ‘talent’ has been older performers, i.e., McCartney, Rolling Stones and now Madonna. So maybe that’s what the people with the $ to attend want to see, stars of ‘their’ time?
It’s said 2B people around the globe watch the game/show. Is that how the NFL wants to project itself and the USA to the world?
Sometimes it’s just good not to have TV or time/inclination to watch it.
At least McCartney and the stones truly performed songs they wrote instead of lip synching covers
