(Tom Brady's wife) Gisele Bundchen blasts Pats WRs

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was so upset over dropping a crucial pass late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, he nearly started crying at the podium.

Welker isn't going to get any pity from quarterback Tom Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen, though.

After her prayers for a Patriots' championship went unanswered, Bunchen lashed out at the team's receiving corps for failing to haul in her husband's passes. While waiting for an elevator at Lucas Oil Stadium, Bundchen was being heckled by Giants fans when she spoke to people in her group.

"My husband can not f------ throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times," Bundchen said in a video captured by theinsider.com, a gossip website.

If Welker makes a tough but very makeable catch Tom Brady wins and is MVP.
In 2008 If Asante Samuel makes tough but very makeable interception. Again Tom Brady is MVP.
Conversley if Giants reciever dosen’t make tremndous catch he Eli nobody.
In 2008 if Tyree dosen’t make a catch off his helmet (last catch he made in the NFL) Eli is nobody.

Cry baby. If I won the lottery I would be a millionaire. Sometimes bad things happen.

Dedicating the game to the owner’s deceased wife or whatever she was prior to the game was a form of hubris and did not appear to recognize the fact that there was another team on the field which was also allowed to compete for the championship. Everybody involved in the Patriots organization shares the responsibility for that.

The guy (Welker) was 110% totally off balance and out of position to catch that ball. I mean, Jesus or the archangel Michael might have caught it but that’s about what it would have taken.

Hernandez’ dropped ball while running a crossing pattern in the Pats last drive was worse.

I think it’s bizarre for her to think God should be bothered with helping Tom Brady win a stupid game...if He were going to intervene it would have to be for so many are so much more deserving.

Good answer by Conan!

I’m sure Brady would admit the pass was a bit high and wrong shoulder.

Yeah, right.

As far as Tom Brady is concerned, Tom Brady is never at fault. The receiver dropped the ball. There was interference that wasn't called. A receiver ran the wrong route. Whatever... as long as something went wrong, it was someone else's fault.

Of course, anything the goes right is all because of Brady.

Football is a hard game. Three people I try not to criticize:
1) WRs who do their best to make difficult catches, and who succeed with great regularity, but do not succeed 100% of the time.
2) QBs who do their best to make great passes, and who succeed with great regularity, but do not succeed 100% of the time.
3) Disappointed wives who were looking forward to a great day for their husband.

That pretty much sums it up nicely; thanks. I’m sure she was emotional and showing in a weird way support for her husband. Would have been nice to have done it w/out the obcenities.

Your post is complete BS. Did you listen to his comments after the game? Brady is not how you describe him...never has been.

Im not crying.Giants made the plays when it counted Pats didn’t.Simple as that.

It is a game people, lighten up. What do you want her to do blow off steam or file a compliant for dividing the scores.

I guess next time Tom has the boys over, Wes will have to use the kid’s bathroom and not the fancy one.

Um, have you actually seen Tom's new place...?

The kids' bathroom is probably the size of your garage :

>>>Re: “...3 before, 0 since” ...you honestly think they won the 3 prior SBs because of this? Wow.<<<

Do you honestly think stealing the other team’s signals had nothing to do with their success?

Obviously the NFL took it pretty seriously fining Belicheat $500K and stripping a 1st round draft pick.

Belichick and Brady are about as legit as Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire. I think most NFL fans put an asterisk next to the Cheatriots SB “wins”.

Which is why every time he makes a bad throw on 3rd down or gets picked off, the next thing I see is him yelling at the receiver who made the “mistake”.

Press conferences after the game is where spin happens. The field and sidelines is where reality is.

"SF 49 ers cheated for 15 years.Lying on their salary cap. Stealers cheated there SB years also. There were one of the first teams to use steroids. Patriots got caught taping outside of a designated area...woooooh.

There is the little matter of manipulating the scoreboard to show the wrong down during the Ravens' last drive in the AFC championship game ...
