Chrysler's new sales pitch:
Even if you don't buy one,
We still get your cash.

What the patriotic message of this cynical ad had to do with Chrysler’s clunkers escapes me!

I was bored with that commercial. Two seconds into it, I left the room.

Ironic that FORD (who took NO TARP) Gran Torino star Clint is the Chrysler pitch man.
Okay Clint, prove that you have no 0bama connection - endorse and campaign with Newt!

Clint had better start looking around for some American Products I might purchase.
GM and Chrysler are NOT in that set. They managed to screw up good reputations and then had the audacity to screw their stockholders and then we taxpayers.
They can shove their iron up their collective Obamas.
I’ll take Fords, thank you very much.

Chrysler to their credit didnt even have cars in the ad. No it wasn't a full shot of the car but it was a black Challenger with 2 red stripes on the hood.

Too bad it wasn’t filmed in “Comeback” Detroit.

He called him Mister. LOL. Not even President, or your highness. Funny. Sounded like Chuck was on the wrong side of other people’s money on this one.

Well, if you have to explain it, the ad wasn’t very good....

“Political” was not a word I would have used after seeing part of it. It wasn’t until the fall out this morning about the Obama camp’s comments that I even saw such a connection.

That’s amazing.
“Asked whether any part of the ad was filmed in Detroit, Gutierrez said that previously taken footage from various parts of the Motor City was used. No image of Detroit was shot for the specific use in this ad.”
The entire ad was spin, because they didn’t film in Detroit.
